Wait holy fuck this actress???? I know her from the most obscure film ever that I watch every fall, The Last Keepers… I never knew she did anything big 😂

What I'm still trying to work out about this show is: Is it a show trying to teach people not to be as horrible as the absolute worst people you could ever meet? Or is it glorifying the absolute worst, most self centered, irresponsible, narcissistic people you could ever meet.
@nbcguitar3 жыл бұрын
@@namedidii of course you are right. It's entertainment not educational. Maybe I just hate myself for enjoying watching the depiction of the worst character traits on television. It's like a never ending contest on who is the worst person in the group.

those aren't the only options

haha right? Try "Succession" which is also on HBO. Essentially every character is a self-serving P.O.S. Not sure why this is what entertains us these days.
@EastSide-qc5oy Жыл бұрын
@@namedidii The question was actually a good one, if you don’t take the word “teach” so seriously and instead consider the overall spirit of the question, which seems to be about what the perspective of the show is on its characters and how the writers want the audience to feel about those characters. Also I feel like your comment could have packed a bigger punch if it had ended differently than “… the Bible.”
@EastSide-qc5oy Жыл бұрын
@@nbcguitar Your question was a good one and don’t let that jackass manipulate you into thinking it wasn’t. I don’t think it’s trying to “teach” the audience anything but the writers do have a goal with how they want to present their characters and how the audience sees them and I think that’s the essence of your question: How does the show want us to feel about these people? That said, I don’t know the answer.
