They feel honoured and sympathy for the fallen soldiers family. It is a honour to be a Angel Flight crew member. I put many men on these flights as a medical officer and it is a honour to send these men and women home

Yes, some gave NOTHING. Some gave ALL !!! *Angel Flight* All I ever wanted to do was fly Leave this world and live in the sky I left the C130 out of Fort Worth town I go up some days I don't wanna come down Well I fly that plane called the Angel Flight Come on brother you're with me tonight Between Heaven and earth you're never alone On the Angel Flight Come on brother I'm taking you home I love my family and I love this land But tonight this flight's for another man We do what we do because we heard the call Some gave a little, but he gave it all I fly that plane called the Angel Flight Come on brother you're with me tonight (Come on brother you're with me tonight) Between Heaven and earth you're never alone On the Angel Flight Come on brother I'm taking you home Come on brother I'm taking you home Well the cockpit's quiet and the stars are bright. I am glad to see how things have changed since I took Brother Jose home 41yr ago He was a Vietnam War Hero who reenlisted as a Pvt to come back to ANGLICO! The priest noted in his citation for the Silver Star when the helicopter on board which he was a passenger was struck by Enemy Fire Cpl Hernandez unhesantly exposed himself to intense Enemy Fire as he remained open to administer first aid to Several Vietnamese Marines and assisted them to reach Cover! I want to Thank the Soldiers from Fort Bliss for providing the Rifle Squad and the Major from I & I staff stayed with me till the end.

I only wonder who can dislike this type of video dedicated to fallen heroes! By the way nice video and you are right we need to remember our heroes on Memorial Day and every day, because if we forget their sacrafice they died for nothing! My message to all readers: Be proud of our fallen heroes, soldier and veterans, they fought(and some of them are still fighting), so we can sleep in peace at night.

I only wish everyone felt that way. Thank you for your positive comment.

I wish too. What is sad in my coutry(Slovakia) almost all people forgets sacrafices of our brave soldiers and there we have NO Memorial Day. My felows just don't pay such respect to our soldier, which they deserve for keeping us free and in peace. For me ''our'' means soldier of the free world, Slovakian, American and any other NATO soldiers, I'm proud that Slovakia is part of NATO and that we we have allies like US, UK, France, Germany ...

My Opinion is that it's the Republicans and failed guy that are the haters😮
@KS-nz5pn Жыл бұрын
@@oneleggedguy that opinion is a big part of what's wrong with our country right now. we need to realize we're all Americans, and we need to get back to realizing we have different opinions, and that that's ok. We can disagree, and still have a basic respect for each other. People on both sides need to learn that. United we stand, divided we fall.

It's sad times right now with so many willing to cause destruction in our own country, those that are tearing down our monuments and statues and more hate groups popping up all around us... It's hard to remember that there are still many of us that do respect and appreciate our military heroes. Comments like yours help them know they are NOT forgotten! Thank you!

It's unfortunate when our service members don't make it home. Their brothers and sisters grieve as much as their families and to not have them even come home must be one of the hardest things to deal with.Just know that there are people that do appreciate what you do to keep the rest of us safe. You are respected my many more than you may realize. I can't even express my sympathy for the ones lost. You are our Superman, Batman, Spider-man and all the other super heroes all rolled into one. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.

Donna, thank you for sharing about your son Chris. My condolences to you and your family. I never served but I have always appreciated that I live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. Those freedoms are only given to us by those heroes that fight for them, for us. I do know loss though. My daughter was born with health issues back in 1993 and passed away when she was just 9 months. Such a long time ago, but many days it feels like yesterday. Please know that there are still people that do honor and respect the service AND sacrifice of people like your son, and also the sacrifices by the families of those that serve.

I’m so sorry for the death of your son, Chris. The loss of a child, even if you’re 80 & your child is 50, no one can fathom the loss of a child. It does get better with time. It’s been 10 yrs for us & those 4 days are seared into my memory.

@@Kre8ivedzines My parents were Vietnam Era vets, not in-country. I’m proud that they were. I can’t understand people who enjoy our freedoms, but refuse to believe that they came without a cost. It makes me want to stuff a copy of the Constitution in their pockets & point them to one of our borders. I’m sorry for the loss of your daughter. Losing a child, however it happens, has to be one of the worst experiences parents & families can suffer. We lost our youngest daughter to suicide @ the age of 14. She’s with Jesus now. I always remember a quote from Queen Elizabeth ll, “Grief is the price we pay for love.”.
