I'm so glad to see an interviewer not trying to the discussion to a media generated beef between Caitlin and Angel . What Caitlin did to the South Carolina perimeter players was through great scouting and she took them out of their comfort zone , like LSU should have done . So we should quit with accepting Miss Caitlin's challenge to them to take a shot that they are not successful at . That's the way competition goes in everything from the boardroom to the soccer field . But the LSU Tigers were excellent when they had to be and the LSU coaching staff did a pretty good job of scouting the Iowa team and put them in unfamiliar conditions . The Lady Tigers responded and the LSU Lady Tigers are the National Champs . So quit with the agitation and let the coaches coach and the players play . And the referees did blow the whistles a bunch and still didn't catch all of the violations , "Laissez les bon temps rouler" America and I'm out 🎭

Don't single out Iowa fans. That is a mistake. There are many reasons to reflect on this situation and you are doing exactly what you are purporting to call out. I am Hawkeye and I go to games. I'm not sure Angel understands what the "you can't see me" gesture means, because it doesn't make sense to go searching for someone to do it, but nobody I know thought too much about it at all. But you can't get away from it both because of the media and because Angel keeps doing it. You need to remember it only takes a handful of idiots to make something viral and Angel just admitted here she was hurt and made a comment she needed to walk back. Don't paint me with that brush, because I know Angel is a good person and a fiery competitor. It seems all that needs to happen is for someone to say they feel disrespected, even for something that was from another game they were not even in, and now we think we have to pick a side....no thanks. It's competition.

@@chrismiller755 Thanks Chris - I think you are right regarding her objective. I believe Angel did feel the way she felt about Caitlin diss'ing her rival and I do think there was some jealousy of the attention. Angel is a national champion and the OP of the tournament. That's the irony here, she wants to be seen and deserves to be. The gesture doesn't fit the situation, but in this case, all publicity is good publicity. She's basically set for life, financially, as long as she has some good people working for her.

This is an unfortunate instance we're grown-ups should have stayed out of young folks business. The worst that should have came out of this was probably a technical foul for taunting. I thought her initial reaction was over the top but correct. I'm happy that she kept her stance but toned it down. Congrats

I will say this I love angel Reese I been defending her since all these dumb people attack her. But ESPN and these companies should of gave these other players some shine. Because she been getting all the glory and shine for this Natty win

She got that call. It's a sign of submission. That "car" is the gift that "destroys the heart" even though she knows they were blatantly disrespected. There will be more gifts. Those are really just crumbs compared to the money they have and will generate in publicity for that school.

She talk mad noise on the court and show up a lot of other player but when Clark did you wanted to make it about race. So basically Clark is say ITS COOL WHEN YOU DO BUT A PROBLEM WHEN I DO IT…so much for unapologetic. That clout went to her head glad she got her mind right. She not bigger than the team
