It's probably one of his favorite shirts. I have a band shirt with holes all through it, I have a safety pin holding it together in the middle. I can't bring myself to throwing it away. I got it at a concert in '09.

Angel is an amazing player no doubt. That's actually what astounds me the least. The music and emotion he is able to create is utterly mind blowing! It can please us guitar players with sweeps and fast licks but he finds a way to make it so artistic and unbelievably well written that the common man could listen and be thoroughly entertained. The composure is wonderful on every record. Seriously the Bach/Beethoven of guitar in our time. It's an honor to listen to this!

I spent like 6 hours learning this song today with a metronome. I can do the first 56 seconds of the song at full speed (REALLY proud of myself for that!). I can do all of the riffs up to 2:42 around 120bpm (song is 152). I didn't even start any riffs after that. I didn't think I could do any part of this song, so I definitely surprised myself today!

It is extraordinary how the electric guitar, distorted, gained, compressed, is such a perfect pairing with classical music. The punch and agression of the guitar give the melodic music edge, and the speed of the guitar exceeds everything else.

Through the military, life's hardest choices, my back to back loss of my grandmother then my dad. Even when I found out I was gonna be dad three years ago it made me stronger. Even listening to this now while righting this makes feel great. I thank you for making these videos and continuing Makin music. Hearing your music and watching your videos gave me again the willpower to grow on music... you get an amazing sound from a guitar and I started to desire to get more of mine too. As a guitarist in a newly started band, I'm good but not as great as I would love to be... I would love to play like Angel but I still have quite a few years ahead of me...i have played for about 7 years but his style of playing, I absolutely love :D I have tried basing my playing off of his playing cuz it is just absolutely influential and flawless in my opinion, but i know that he may mess up sometimes like every guitarist/musician but that's how you correct and advance your self, 1 note that doesn't sound right will throw you off track...there are no words for me to describe how emotional he makes me feel with his guitar playing, you can even see the emotion in his face being put into his guitar as he plays it because he feels the music...that is a true musician!!!! I would kill to have at least a 30 min lesson with him to teach me his ways lol!

After 16 years of shredding, I'm still struggling with this amazing song. I can't even grasp on how the fuck you were able to compose it. True masterpiece in my opinion

that just masturbating a guitar for me this is not really music ! He just shows his talent i agree with showing your talent but do that in a solo not in an entire song that's horrible !

I agree, although it sounds good, it's a bit much. I guess he just writes so much solo stuff that he would never use it all unless he had 'solo songs' lol

Ive been playing guitar a long time now. I’ve been in bands, recorded albums. For me personally shredding super fast means nothing to me if the player doesn’t play with feeling and emotion. A guy that picked up the guitar last year can play with more emotion with power chords and some simple techniques than a guitar player that can play anything. So many super good, fast, clean players make just the most boring music that sounds like a computer playing scales that just go no where. No build ups, no climax it’s just like someone that walks through life with nowhere to go. But you sir are the total package. You have the natural ability to play with feeling which is something nobody can teach anyone you are born with it. I just heard about you from the shred video with all the other players. I really dig the tapping at 1:40. Very impressed with your playing! You deserve everyone in the world to listen to your music you have earned it.
