Angela Anaconda | 2020 Theme

I was asked by @AmazzonKane to help with a project she had which was to bring the 90's kids TV show classic, #AngelaAnaconda up to date with fresh #animation and visuals.
I happily agreed and as well as building the rigs for each of the characters, I also animated them and then rendered each shot.
I will share a closer look at the rigs in a future video.

The reasons why this is better than the original: 1) Angela's friends play a bigger role in this, serving as Angela's support. Her posing with them in the end and Gordy throwing that glitter into the air was adorable! 2) Nanette and her posse are actually shown to be jerks in this, sabotaging Angela's performance and bullying her instead of Nanette just randomly appearing and Angela antagonizing her for nothing like in the original 3) the skin is not grey anymore!!! Thnk gdness!!! They don't look like walking corpses anymore! 4) The animation is done with much more effort and quality, making the characters actually look cute and move in move natural ways 5) no horrible singing to torture our ears. The music and the visuals tell a story Brilliant job on this! ❤❤

Its hard to tell what exactly it is, maybe the color, less clashing and fluidity of animation, but this is much more enjoyable to watch compared to the original which has an animation and art style which a lot of people have trouble with. Good work!

I like how the skin isn’t gray anymore and the animation is more clean. I grew up with the goofy ahh animation and grey skin. Although this is an improvement, I still get a sense of uneasiness when I watch this show

The movement of object is much smoother and the colours of skin and eyes are just very nice to watch at. You changed the proportions on Angelas face so she doesn’t look that creepy. It’s more … cartoonish i would call but it‘s looks really cool. You also changed basically her proportions and the rest of things like shadowing and brightness. This series wouldn’t have so many problems if it would go into one concrete direction like you did. We can see in the series this realistic style of faces but at the same time we see unrealistically scarring body part sizes. Nice Remake 11/10 Btw I like that you made her imagine doing something terrible to the blondie instead of her really doing something. It’s also cause it‘s weirdly looking like some cheap presentation bugging it‘s less crazy cause it feels like ”She got a candy?! But I also want candy, It’s mine!!“ yk.

I wish someone would Upscale, or remaster this whole series, I was enhancing colors, but didn't have software to Upscale, and was firce to take down the enhanced version of all of season 1 and the couple episodes I had season 2 done from my channel, it almost got me canned when happened a last year
