I talked to her brother in law, married to her sister (now separated), she said her kids are now older n fighting her own traumas caused by Angela drug abuse n prostitution. He said he told her family about her couple weeks ago, they don’t really wanna help her or do something for her. They know her situation, so much pain caused in the past, hope Angela can find some forgiveness n better future on her side! Can’t blame anybody for this, past is past but it’s sad…

It may also be that her SMI made her truly unable to take on normal adult responsibilities and roles. That’s the saddest and most frustrating part. People with these conditions often self medicate, and even without street drugs, they are just not capable of living normal lives.
