The best chicken psychology tip anyone ever gave me was to put the new chicken into the yard while the 'old' chickens are still in the coop/ roosting box from the night before. When you let the 'old' chickens out, they have to enter the 'new' chicken's territory and it confuses the 'old' ones and stops them from attacking. Somehow it puts the 'new' chicken further up the pecking order. It really worked for us. Hope this helps.

Great answers. Best advice for pre-marriage, do somethings that are challenging together. Like go tent camping for a week, or learn something new for both of you. This shows how you both handle unfamiliar, stressful or scary things. Do they give up? Can they laugh afterwards? Just good-to-know stuff, because you never know what is coming. You want to work as a team.

In one of your back to school videos or another q&a, could you please give us some helpful advice on homeschooling adopted children? I have 3 bios I've been homeschooling. One has special needs. We've been fostering 3 wonderful kids for 10 months, and, as adoption gets closer, I am more worried than I thought I'd be about homeschooling all of my kids. I am going from an independent, gitter done 2nd grader and a special needs 3rd grader with a preschooler who hangs out to 2 high school age kids, a 4th grader, and my baby joining us as a K student next year! Ahhhhhh! I don't expect specific details about your kids. That's private, but general things you wish you had known or helpful advice or whatever nuggets of wisdom you got for us would be fantastic!

The dynamic, humor and love between you is so wonderful and hilarious! You said in this video that you really developed your friendship before being a couple. If its not too personal (please feel no obligation to answer) how long were you friends before you starting a relationship or did it just naturally progress? I love that you found a solution for your Lottie mischief! I had to duct tape my fridge shut to keep my cat out....oh no Lottie sick adventures doesn't sound fun! Glad she gets along with her goat siblings! Love your reaction when CR "overshared" about his bathroom me time! You two need to do more videos together :) I love when CR asked if he could tell a story about Mexico and you said "You can say whatever you want, I can edit :) I totally get the "I can't do three hours with these people!"
