Skincare is my number 1, not only do I feel the best I look the best for my age. When I see my husband taking peeks at me and smiling that really makes me feel good, so I pay strong attention to my skin. Just because I'm aging does not mean I have to look tired. I do buy some good pairs of shoes, especially walking shoes that I know I can wear over and over, I need comfortable feet. My bed is expensive because I wanted it to last and me getting good sleep and I'm happy I was able to make that investment. Now what I hope to do is travel, I have taken to US cities because I wanted to do some home travel before I travel out of the USA because it's so much culture and excitement in many of our cities. I hope to get out of the country in a couple of years, at least 2025. I worked most of my life I deserve nice anything and everything now.

Amen to the seat upgrade. We paid the $500 extra to upgrade our seats flying from Dallas to Tokyo (13 hour flight) and that was the best decision we could've ever made. I can't imagine being in coach that whole ride. All of these tips I cosign (and I'm not even in my 40s yet) but I take all of your advice and tips seriously. I am in agreement with you. When we know better, we do better. I was so surprised when I learned that you have a good down comforter on your bed, you don't need that heavy blanket. After my divorce, the first thing I did was upgrade my bedroom. I never knew a mattress and pillow could feel so good.

When I was in high school (1991) I worked for a store called Scandia Down. It had the most expensive pillows, comforters, sheet sets and sleigh beds that I had ever encountered. I remember selling a pair of pillows that were $136 each! It changed the way I looked at bedding for the rest of my life!

Great video! I eat wild caught salmon. I don’t eat much meat but when I do it must be organic and grass-fed. The same goes for my fruits & veggies…organic all the way. Nowadays the cost for organic most times is cheaper than GMO, so why not pay for quality. It’s a win-win.

1st...You look amazing!!! THIS ENTIRE LIST!!!!! All of it...especially about traveling 1st or business class! I've worked hard all of my 49 years and DESERVE all of it. The mattress, bed linens and pillows they make a huge difference in your sleep. We also invested in a Sealy Tempur-Pedic with the adjustable base, and it's a great bed. We previously had a sleep number bed, and did not like it all.

Angela, you know my motto is " It's your life, love it and make the best of it". We fly stand by because I am a airline retiree. I get first class when possible. However, we are taking our 50th anniversary cruise in July so we purchased a seat. Im not getting bumped 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I'm working on a garden now. The chicken coop was also on my radar. But we have red fox, hawks, coyotes right here in the city. So that might not fly for us. You have great plans. Keep on living life golden.

Haven't checked your archives yet, but would love to see a video of shoe recommendations. I traveled to West Africa a few months ago and took your travel tips advice for Teva shoes and those were a lifesaver when we did excursions. So I know your recommendations are on point.

For me, as a retired chef/line cook, it is all things cooking I refuse to settle for less. My utensils, cookware, bakeware, kitchen towels, aprons, chef's jacket, EVERYTHING. Quality knives will last a lifetime. While at culinary school, I shopped at TJ Maxx, Dollar Tree, and Ross for my kitchen utensils. Then I discovered Williams Sonoma from someone at school and "away we go!" LOL! Now, with my YT channel, I only use my quality items and have thrown out my cheaper things.
