I don't know if you haven't read it yet, but in the manga it gives much more importance and symbolism in the parts where Nami is placed, an example is chapter 1013 in the manga, it's one of my favorites but in the anime they took it away the emotion (in my opinion)

Tbh, people sleep on Nami's hard past. She probably has the hardest and saddest one realistically. Not only was her Mother murdered in Cold blood after a harsh argument, but Nami and her whole Island were completely dominated and focused to work under that same murderer. All while Nami had to work herself to death for that same person just to keep everybody on the island alive. That's cruel af son.

Tbh I think Robin’s was sadder. Yes, Nami’s people lived in hardship under Arlong, but at least they could continue to live. Robin was the SOLE SURVIVOR of her island. Literally everyone else died. Nami’s “mom” died in front of her, but at least she was always there with her until then. Robin’s mom was NEVER present until the very end, and even then she (briefly) denied being her mom.

But when I am thinking that is not real life and only an anime and all the wonder and adventure are only fiction and not real, it makes me sad. I just want to live in a world like in one piece and all would be better. But now I have to be unsatisfied constantly moody chronic cptsd workaholic. I had no childhood. I remember no good memory except one piece. When you know the MBTI System-> I am Infp. When you know the astrology. -> i have saggitarius sun = my goals. Scorpio moon = need to fight for survival Pisces rising = ill health and chronic fatique and constantly unsatisfied, naive highly sensitive, very emotional artist. I see no reason for living. When I was someone else I could watch one piece without to be depressed and sad because one piece for me is the only good thing in my life. The other have also plenty other things in real life that makes them happy. I just wish I was never born. I hate it to be me but need to fight for my survival as highly sensitive with constantly head ache artist. I hate money. Why I am so weak and fragile but I need to push me to the limit and make a Bachelor master degree to survive??? Why me? This theme is soo nostalgic for me, I remember during the summer holiday when I was in 6th grade ( now I will go in 10th grade), I passed all my summer to watch one piece, I remember at the beginning of the summer I was at the Skypiea arc and at the end, I was at the Dressrosa arc ( my fav btw ), I like watch 500/550 ep in that summer, when I look back on it, it's crazyyy.
