Very good interview and these principles have helped my body heal. I learned some new information today. To church people comment.... People who read/ study the word can see that God created sex for a purpose and to be special inside marriage. The topic should not be avoided. It is unfortunate when parents(in and out of the church) and some church leaders avoid the topic. Parents are responsible for teaching their children about their bodies and sex or find someone who can teach from a place of knowledge, maturity,, healthy, and Godly point of view. As a woman of faith who believes in Jesus Christ, I appreciate this interview. While I do not agree with everything spoken here, Balance is the key to life. When you asked about Christians and her beliefs conflicting, Queen Afua never answered your question. In fact she prophesied to you about your current life state and introduced necromancy as a means of healing. While I am truly sorry for your loss, beware. Speaking to those who have transitioned on is speaking with familiar spirits. Worshipping the ancestors, even speaking to those who have transitioned looking for a revelation or guidance is necromancy. You ask the ancestors for guidance, but who will deliver you from the tormenting spirits that have falsely portrayed themself as an ancestor? Just as these teachings may yield real results, demons are real too. Every religion has a replicate of an idealology. Read Timothy 4. Not a verse but understand the concept of the chapter. So you can apply it to your life. Why would you ask the ancestors for guidance when you have the Holy Spirit to guide you. I pray that God will open the eyes of those reading this post so that key words an phrases will key them into the ultimate motive of this movement. I am not trying to down play the teachings of Ms. Queen Afua. Some of her teachings are just regular holistic teachings. This is only profound to the African American culture because religion and slavery have been kept us ignorant of this information. Take the meat and spit out the bones. The Bible tells us we are spiritual beings, 1 John 4:1 says test the spirits by the spirits. Pray for wisdom concerning these teachings. The Bible was written by man so we pray the Holy Spirit leads us and gives revelation when reading the Bible. Do the same with these teachings. For those who have church hurt like Ms. Rye, I pray you have closure and your faith be restored. Flat out, these teachings are a gateway into the new age religion for those who blind to the teachings. I encourage you to read her book for knowledge but understand you need wisdom and discernment when doing so. This is all out of love, I pray everyone’s discernment and health in the Lord.
