I sent part 1 to my mother to watch. She has made many Dresden plate quilts over the years, but she has never seen some of these variations. We are both excited to try them out. The finished quilt is simply beautiful! You have really inspired me to start sewing again, and start quilting my own tops rather than taking them to Mother to finish. And your videos are a welcome diversion during those long night shifts at the hospital. Thank you for being such an inspiration!

Love this quilt and the quilting demonstration. I have like 20 quilts ready to quilt and a sit down longarm, but I work 6 days a week and clean on Sundays. Piecing works because I can do a few minutes at a time. I need to retire but I am only 50...

Thanks for another great video! Just got back from renting time on a longarm. I'm so happy with how my quilt came out, and I feel like I've learned so much from your videos. On your advice, I will not point out the place where I accidently hit my ruler then peed my pants a little. Please keep the videos coming!

Love love LOVE your new fabric Angela! You are a creative genius. (I urge you to incorporate those other cute sayings to your next collection. I love fabric with writing on it, and I even have a package of "This Took Forever" labels... which I'll be adding to my quilts as soon as I FINISH them (sigh!). This pattern is spectacular. Definitely a must-make! ~Diana K. p.s. That "trimming lesson"? It's why I STARCH all squares before cutting them diagonally and exposing that super-stretchy bias. It's really a "thing", trust me. :-)
