Each judge can give 1 and only 1 golden buzzer. When Angelica performed the first time, all of the judges had given out their golden buzzers so they couldn't give her one. But when they got a guest judge, he was allowed to give a golden buzzer.

Yes, Les Cox.... I agree with You. The girl is a saint. I don't say that word lightly either. She cares so much about others and give so selflessly. If the whole world was like that..... We would never have another war and nobody would ever go without anything they need because everyone else would help them get it. The world would definitely be a different place if more people were like Her. I think Petra has that same tender loving spirit too. I thought She was going to literally start crying when Angelica got the Golden Buzzer. My eyes were getting tears right along with Her though. I loved Your comment. Petra..... For me personally, this was my #1 highlight of last seasons' AGT as she truly deserved it. She was my favourite act of all last season & I'm glad you felt just as happy & excited about the divine Miss Hale as every Angelica-holic around the world & still does to this very day ❤️👋😍❤️

I was having a down, discouraged dark time when KZbin put Angelica in my feed. I listened to her the first time and felt goose bumps and my spirit lifted. For the next three months I listened to her AGT songs several times every day. Her singing got me through the dark time. She has an amazing gift. Since she has become a child ambassador for both the kidney and sepsis organizations.

During the second round of auditions on America's Got Talent, the Judges must pick 7 acts out of the 20 that perform that day. AGT then adds a guest Judge to the panel to break any ties during the Cuts, 13 acts during the evening go home. But one act will get the Guest Judges Golden buzzer to advance to the live show.

The reason Angelica Hale didn't get a Golden buzzer for her first performance is because each of the judges only has one Golden Buzzer to award. All of the Golden Buzzers except Heidi Klum's was already awarded and hers went to Angelina Green. Fortunately, with Chris Hardwick as the Special Visiting Judge, he had another Golden Buzzer to award and he rightfully gave it to Angelica Hale. So Angelica Hale is automatically advanced to the 'Live Shows'.(Finale)

They had guest judges weekly during judges cuts. Those guests were given one golden button option to use during the second set of auditions. When she performed the guest judge used their one golden buzzer. Hoping that made sense.

she got this golden buzzer because there was a celebrity judge there that night every judge at that time had pushed there golden buzzer so by the time chris hardwick came onto the show they gave him his own special golden buzzer and he pushed it that night for angelica i hope this clears things up for you

AGT ADVANCEMENT FORMULA In the second round ("Judge Cuts") the 5 judges vote 7 acts through to the quarter finals from each of the four episodes.
