Maybe you can do a follow up to this in December/early 2020 where you go over any products where you were specifically keeping to do further testing (like the liquid highlighters that you like to mix, for example)

SO SO SO PROUD OF YOU!!! I definitely think the reckoning basket idea from Hannah would work really well for you. I also don't think it would be bad to put the couple highlighters from large palettes you want to keep into one smaller magnetic palette. 1 palette with 4 highlighters from 4 different palettes is much better and I bet you'll be more likely to use them. Also, SO excited to see two pans in highlighters! That's proof you really do love those highlighters! Maybe you'll do monthly makeup baskets or a project pan next year?

I give so much credit to anyone who can declutter their collection, I would be so afraid of missing it at some point . I don’t have much I have less in my entire collection that was decluttered and I completely understand why you are doing it , the fewer but nicer makes the most absolute sense for someone that has a channel and receives PR and needs lots of products to review. But the everyday person who declutters im in awe of them , I’d be absolutely terrified to get rid of anything yes I understand the difference between us I’m just giving you credit for doing it .

You can depot a whole highlighting palette and put your favorite shades in it. The ABH palette pans seemed the easiest to take out and replace with your four favorite shades.

Lots of great tidbits - how being on the low buy helped you realize what you were & were not using, no regrets!, not keeping things just because you used to use them a lot, and comparing similar shades but keeping only the one with the formula you liked best. Decluttering is so liberating.

This was just the video I needed! Got home from school, getting ready to work and it was perfect for my coffee break! Also I would totally keep all the Kaleidos highlighters just for that packaging. Even if I wouldn't use them, they would look amazing on a shelf, those tin packages remind me of old makeup when makeup was accessible for lot of people and they had tin packaging, nicely decorated etc. ^^

I was so happy you kept Showtime! One of my absolute favourites and I never hear anyone talk about it. I agree that super shock highlighter is a wonderful formula- I don't have the depth of knowledge you have to say it's the best, but you've never steered me wrong. Also I have and love the Pixi gossamer duo, bought on your recommendation. And I recently ordered the Nabla highlighter which you recommended in your recent review round up- I'm so excited for it to arrive. I've been on a no-buy for 6 months and I've been SO GOOD! The Nabla and the ABH Jackie Aina palette are my very considered purchase at the end of the no-buy. Proud of myself. Thanks for all the inspiration Angie!xoxo

LOVE this! My favorite highlight formula is probably the Hourglass metallic strobe lighting powder they released in a trio 2 years ago (and it's also the highlight in the unlocked palette last year). I can NOT for the life of me understand why they haven't released singles of that formula. It is 100% different from their other strobe lighting powders. So smooth, so shiny. 💖💖💖

Elcie skin reflector!!! my all time favourite. Melts into your skin and gives you a proper lit from within glow. It’s not bam ! In your face.... nor glittery.. very flattering & comes in 4 shades I own the light & med both work for me. Great for people with more mature or textured skin. It’s a must try for all .

My favorite is the discontinued Makeup Monsters cream highlighters. I bought two of them like 2-3 years ago and still use them. They don't dry out and look stunning on the skin. Waterproof too! Super easy to blend. I'll be sad when I use them up.

There's a lot of highlighters that I have tried and haven't tried yet. But my favorite is the pixi glow gossamer duo formula is by far my favorite! Like they give me the dewiest wet highlight and I live for that!!!

With that collection, I can absolutely understand why the Wet n Wild highlighters are unimpressive. I love buffing in "Blossom Glow" to create that glass skin effect -- it's a sheen that doesn't pick up on texture & I love it! But considering I'm making a Colourpop order for my birthday to get the Smoke Show palette... I might as well throw in the SS Highlighter in "Spoon"! 😍

DAAAAAANG !!!! I would gladly pay for any of those MULTI-SHADE products you have decided to let go of. They would be perfect for my working kit since I constantly deal with a multitude of skin tones. Also my favorite highlighter formula is probably COVER FX's drops. Mainly because I have more mature skin so powders can tend to intensify texture. Youre such a dream to watch.

My favorite highlighter is Winky Lux Creamy Strobing Balm Highlighter in Bubbles. They have a darker color called Lit as well because Bubbles is pure white but man I love it because I am super pale and I love the way it works into my skin and it is not blinding but it does show up as just this wet like skin. I have to force myself to use any of my others. I way prefer cream formulas to powder or liquid and having a white highlighter is fantastic for those of us who are pale. Never had a highlighter that looks so wet and you get a surprising amount of control over pronounced the shine is. If I want a strong highlight I can get it with the Winky Lux Lit, but I can also get it to look pretty natural for work days or for days at the beach.

I haven't tried that many, but the new Nabla formula is giving me life right now. Before that it was Becca, but now I'm not sure! Thank you so much for the Nabla swatches and recommendation. I got the Amnesia shade and it's perfect for me.

My favourite highlighter formula is also the Super Shock formula by Colourpop! Love my Villains Highlighter 😍 Thanks to your recommendation I tried them and I am absolutely in love! 💕 I thought that with my fair cool toned skin I couldn't use peachy highlighter like the Hades one but then I discovered that peachy and pinky toned highlighters look like my skin and give them just a beautiful glow! Now I don't use anything else!! 😃

My all time favorite highlighter (& blush) formula are the "Watercolor" liquid cheek products by Renowned MUA, Daniel Sanders. I think you would love them b/c they are not icy or frosty. Good job! I recently did a bit of declutter myself of my highlighters/blushes. My collection is much smaller than yours & I still found it very difficult. But it is nice to know that the products you have, you'll use. Also, I put the Melt highlighters & the bareMinerals highlighter on my wish list now. Perhaps, on Black Friday there will be a sale? My all time favorite favorite highlight is my Mac Whisper of Guilt. And mine is in the Nutcracker one like what you decluttered. I've almost used mine up. I was cringing as you were decluttering it LOL! Great declutter tho! I liked that you kept what you liked rather than KZbin favorites. That's refreshing. Such a great declutter! My favourite formula is the ABH Amrezy formula! I wish they would have made more with this formula but different colours or tones, I've heard the new Nabla ones are a similar texture so I really want to try one but I feel like I have the colours already and I don't want to buy things that I basically already have 🤷🏻‍♀️
