I feel like Melt needs to get it together with their formulas. I haven’t bought anything from them because I never know what formula it will be and I’m not wanting to spend that much money on an uncertain formula

@@chloedsmith I was referring to the Milnennial Pink palette, I think it's called? I don't often do neutral looks, but if I do, it's always just a wash of pinks, because it looks good on my complexion. I've been wanting to try Melt eyeshadows for a long time, but I can't justify it until, 1) most of the shades are colours I'd use, and 2) the whole palette is top quality. 😣 They're so, so expensive, so I need to be able to justify the cost to myself. 😕

Yup, while I think Melt’s marketing is brilliant (they always tempt me), I feel much safer purchasing from Menagerie Cosmetics, Coloured Raine, or Kaleidos Makeup (Dose of Colors are consistently good too but they have very basic color stories).

@@TheAsianCutie93 I really like DoC's liquid lippies! They have a lot of fun cool-toned shades that are still "wearable." I like a really fun pastel / brights eyeshadow look, and a more subdued, cool-toned lippie, so I find DoC's shade range really nice, and I love the formula. 😊 Edit: And yeah, I'd love to TRY Melt... But I'm finding beautiful, high quality, less expensive things from tons of indie brands. There is so much variety and QUALITY out there, now. Bigger brands need to get it together.

I finally got the BH Cosmetics Sweet Shoppe palette in Cotton Candy, after you reminded me I'm an idiot...and the quality is just as good as you said, I'm in love 🤩 I wish the Stacie Marie palette was little six pans as well, I love the colours but I have no where to put such a gigantic palette!

The Kosas bronzer really disappointed me because it was Too warm against my pale cool toned skin, but Then I noticed that if I just dusted it as a powder foundation across my face, it looked stunning! Enough warmth to bring life to my pale face that can look dead in the morning, the shimmer also helps bring it to live, and now I'm really glad that I have a way to enjoy it like I was hoping to!

I just wanted to thank you for your comments on the Oden’s Eye products! I really appreciate your thoughts and feedback when a lot of other reviewers are focused on the formula (which I’m sure is great) and not the actual idea of utilizing the palettes and creating looks. I also like dark mattes in palettes!

I watched several reviews of the Smoke Sessions palette before buying it. Most of them didn't touch on the quality, blendability, etc because they were stuck on the novelty of the palette. I was going to buy it anyway because it is a gorgeous one. I definitely agree with the shimmers. They are beautiful and work best with fingers. The mattes are highly pigmented and need some finesse when blending. I'm not an expert at blending, but I'm not a novice either. It took a few times to understand this formula.

The colourpop lip oils are so nice. So comfortable and the smell is ok. I have all of them bar one. Sometimes I wear the clear one at night cos it's so comfy , despite the slight glitter in it haha I just wish they'd come out with a slightly more pigmented version. I feel like a lot of them look the same when applied. Though I do have very red lips which is likely to be contributing to that (it usually does when it comes to sheer products like this) the cactus blossoms set is really cute.

Hi Angie, love your makeup look today! You had a lot of products this week that I’ve been wondering about so thank you for your review. I love Hourglass because it’s very easy to use their powders, you can’t overdo it and their powders are very forgiving on adding skin. Yes I agree they absolutely need to widen their shade range. I think 3 palettes in their holiday release at least. That way you’d have fair/light, medium/tan & tan/deep. Thanks for reviewing everything for us! 🌻☀️

I do love that Juvia's Place pink palette that you have. Be ght beautiful pigmented pinks perfect for spring for me! I've JUST purchased the Nabla Dreamy 2 palette too! I'd looked at it but had no intention of getting it before until I saw it in person at Ulta. The online pictures do this palette NO JUSTICE! Its so beautiful and the formula is very comfortable and easy to blend. There's 1 or 2 shades that could be more pigmented, but other wise, *kiss* it's a perfect sultry fall/winter palette for me.

The be perfect palette, uoma foundation and dior foundation stole the show for me in September. Now I've got some rephr brushes, the glamlite ice cream palette and 9 give me glow green single shadows already this month hahaha. I also ordered the clionadh jewel multichrome set from the stained glass collection but they're not shipping until November. I'm disappointed in the bh cosmetics Halloween palette because the red isn't actually red on the eyes and that's what drew me in to purchase it.

My favourite thing this month was the SUVA Beauty Taffies palette... But that's one of the very few things I've received since ordering in September, though. 😅 I have a few things coming soon that I'm quite excited about, though: Glamlite Ice Cream Palette, Kaleidos Light / Cool face palette (actually looks like it'll work for very fair, cool-toned skin!) & one of the highlighters (so pretty), and some skincare and lip masks from Tarte (really digging some of their newer skincare and stuff - great ingredients lists and packaging). Regarding things that I'm falling out of love with, this month, it's mostly just fake tanning products. They make me look a bit more alive, but I find it to be more of a hassle than is worthwhile. Maybe I'll use them more when summer comes around again.
