This video really just made me realise I have a much healthier relationship with blush than I do eyeshadow, lipsticks, and tinted balms. 😅 I will never have "enough" matte eyeshadows, or enough lippies in slightly different shades of cool pinks, mauves, and purples... And we don't even show our mouthes, anymore! 😩 But I literally have like 4 blushes in different shades that I always choose between. And I'm okay with that amount. 🤨 I never really thought about it, before. For a while, I thought I had a problem with eyebrow pencils, foundations, and contours, but it was simply because I couldn't find a good match, or my only match was too expensive or not doable for everyday, for some reason. I'm kind of glad to realise I don't have a "problem" across the board, at least. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you for the insight, Angie! 😋

Blush was the first makeup product I really got excited over. It's the definitely the category of face product I find I want the most of. I must have about 8 and am planning to buy one of the singles from menagerie when they open back up. Meanwhile I have 3 highlights and 1 bronzer and am pretty content with those numbers. I probably have a few more lipsticks than I do blushes but they don't feel as exciting as blush.

I know you said don’t come for you but I have to come for you about the CoverFx blushes! 😂 I LOVE those blushes! And while I know some say they are too pigmented and can be hard to blend that is actually what makes them work so well for deeper skin tones. Im not that deep but I can wear every shade in that range because of the formula. I don’t find them that hard to blend but I DEFINITELY have to use a light hand with them.

My favorite has to be using the Melt digital dust highlighter (in Genesis, from your recommendation in a past video - thank you!) as a glowy blush - but would definitely wait for the Melt website to have one of their sales - I'm pretty sure I was able to get it for $19. I also really like the two pink shades in Linda Hallberg's original Infinity palette.

I've just recently (like in the last year or so) really gotten into blush. I was so excited to be able to buy the CoverFx blush duos half off. Now that I've got them, I'm glad I didn't pay full price. They're nice but not all that. I actually prefer my Essence blush in Bespoke. However, the ND blush/ highlighter mini is worth every bit of hype it got. SOOO gorgeous!

I bought minis of the ND line so I could get several. I love the So Retrograde! Have many from Colourpop and do appreciate the Super Shock formula. Bought several of the Cover FX for half price on sale at Ulta and I really like them too. Have recently done a declutter so I'm down to my most loved. 💗💗💟💟

Gm Angelica.. I feel that this blushes , when they come out they are hyped according to what's out.. the cover ex.. where the lasted and newest idea of a blush matte and shine at the time it was released and discovered.. Now you have other brands making blushes w/high shine! I love those The Saem blushes!!! I have Orchid Rumour, Honey Yellow, Carrot Red, and Rose Ribbon. I also have the 3CE cushion blush in Girlish Red and it's stunning!! Love me some bright blush. I also love the Nature Republic By Flower Airy Blusher in Pale Lavender - we have a similar undertone so I think that would definitely show up as a lilac on you as it does on me. So pretty!

Don't have a blush I love at the moment, had to get rid of my Rosy Outlook from MAC since the texture changed (had had it for like [REDACTED] years). Unpopular opinion: I like Orgasm from NARS. 🙈 It's also a great way to get out of buying any of their blush palettes since it's always (well 99 times of 100) included. Do actually have one palette that I got from them since it didn't have Orgasm in it. Haven't seen one since. 😉

I think maybe Orgasm just seems boring to Angie because it was already out and around when she started doing makeup. But in 1999, a buildable and slightly highlighter-y blush in a universal color? Absolutely unheard of. Angie mentioned that people were forgetting the ColorPop SuperShock formula has been around 5 or 6 years and was ahead of its time... well, Fenty wasn’t the first to do universal shades. NARS was just 18-odd years ahead of time when it came out with a shimmery, universal blush shade. 🤷‍♀️

I agree that the Nabla Skin Glazing blushes deserve all the hype. So far, I only have Independence, but I definitely want to pick up more shades. The formula is so smooth and glowy. I also have an old blush palette by Makeup Revolution that I really love. I usually like blushes to have a low to medium pigmentation.

I became a blush fiend this year, too! I’m with you - So Retrograde is my all-time fave. It’s stunning. I also love French Blush from Lancôme and the Milani baked blushes. They’re like blush-highlighter hybrids too and I love them so much! I wish they were more affordable for you in Sweden so it would be worth trying them. They have such beautiful colors. Oh, I really don’t get the hype over the Cover FX blushes either. They’re pretty but I have others I like so much more. But a lot of people swear by them. 🤷‍♀️

I think this was such a fun video. It really got me thinking about my own blushes too. I don't have a channel so I will just answer a couple of questions here. Most nostalgic blush: Mac Prism. It is the first one I remember buying as an adult when I renewed my love affair with makeup. Worth the hype: I also think that the Nabla is worth the hype, such a great formula. Most affordable is Pacifica blush.

My recently discovered favorite - and I think definitely underrated - blush is from lavera, the "so fresh mineral rouge powder" in "02 plum blossom" (but attention: quite a strong smell, but not bad for my taste). It's a beautiful mauve shade which suits my pale and cool toned face perfectly. I just ordered the color "charming rose" hoping that this will be as wonderful as the "plum blossom".

One of my favorite blushes is my Colourpop MakeupbyShayla blush. Forgot what it's called but its a dark nude/plummy color and even on my pale skin it brings color to my face!

Surprisingly one of the prettiest blushes on me is actually a cream highlighter from the makeup revolution strobe balm palette! The darker ones in the corners (they are pretty much the same shade) are too dark to highlight on me but they are such pretty and VERY glowy nude blushes! can be layered with other cream blushes or even a lipstick for bolder colours too.

I only have one blush that I have tried and loved and it's the Colourpop blush in Night Bloom. If I had to put it in categories I would put it under most affordable, most colorful, and most used. The only other blush I have is Mood Exposure from Hourglass but it's new to me so I haven't had a chance to use it or fall in love with it.

I think my favorite drugstore blushes were those Milani blushes that were sculpted like a rose. I had 2 or 3 of those & I remember liking the colors & texture. Those were replaced by The Balm In Stain blushes ( now discontinued) I bought every color I could hunt down & still have them. Just with those I have a pretty good blush wardrobe of neutral, warm, & cool. My most used blush is also by The Balm--Frat Boy. It's the perfect shade for me ( med peachy pink) & has a satin, skin like finish that I prefer. I haven't really been buying/experimenting with blushes much since I found these. I'd rather repurchase something that I know works & I have my blush needs covered. For cream blush, I really like the Super Shock formula from CP. The formula isn't too greasy/balmy, blends easily & builds up nicely without lifting any makeup underneath. I just generally find it easier to use powder blushes since everything else I use on my face except foundation/concealer is powder too.

And regarding the oldest blush, it immediately came to mind my original MAC Warm Soul, I bought it end of 2011. And it is still the same, I am keeping it for sentimental reasons. 😊It was my first high end blush, they don't make it the same anymore and I bought it when I visited Belgium. ❤️

I cannot relate at all with you Angie... I feel like I never had many blushes, and when my skin started getting more sensitive I stopped using it altogether. BUT I admit I like lip and cheeks crayons, because I can use them up eventually. My favorites are from KIKO Milano New Green Me collection, in particular the matte poppy red and the matte mauve pink. Oh, and before it expired I loved the cream to powder Neve Cosmetics Blush Garden, which is in a pot with a rose engraving, so cute, it was the Sunday Rose and it was a bright raspberry pink. Nars blushes were hyped because they came out with unusual, dramatic and shimmery shades that blended and wore really well, whilst other brands were still only doing peach and pink mattes or satins. I know this because Nars packaging breaks down on me (literally crumbles into pieces after a month). Don't know why - something in my skin affects the plastic (not just me but clearly not enough people for Nars to care). And if it were not for the fact that I just could not get those interesting, glowy shades in any other decent formula I would NEVER have spent money on Nars blushes due to the packaging issues. But my blush collection up until about 8 years ago was dominated by Nars. Since other brands have been bringing the quality and the glowy colour I haven't bought another Nars blush.

I cannot declutter a blush to save my life. Even if it's matte and I only wear a matte blush if I'm putting a cream bronzer on top or blending it into an ocean of highlight. Sometimes I wear three or four blushes. And then I saw a Lisa Eldridge tutorial where she uses like 8-10 blushes from one of her dumbo looks and I was like yes Lisa yes. I will wear 8 blushes too. And so many good orange blushes this year!!
