I foghorn laughed so hard at the “cat litter is better than this.” Only problem is I did it while getting an iron transfusion, so a bunch of nurses and some fellow hematology/oncology patients were suuuuuper confused and even more concerned about me than they normally are. But my favorite nurse gasped and said “she’s STUNNING” about you as she looked over my shoulder while hanging my second infusion bag, so at least something good came out of it. Anyway, I always love watching your videos, but I’m so looking forward to that elf review tomorrow. I bought a couple because everyone was absolutely raving about them...and I just don’t understand the hype? Maybe I got duds or just don’t know how to work makeup properly - either is equally possible - but it was a very meh and kind of disappointing experience, given how they’ve been given HG status by so many. And omg YES Cozumel is stunning. My wife and I went there three or four years ago and I took a picture of one of the beaches that’s my background on both my computer and iPad, and it never ceases to be a moment of zen, if you will. Girl, I'm so not shocked that the blueberry muffin made it to number 1. When you said we're going to be shocked around your number 2 choice, I actually thought you were going to say the blueberry muffin. Then when you mentioned that it was lashes, I was like "ohhh, now it's clear what number 1 is." As always, fun video! It's good to know what you like vs what doesn't appeal as much to you. Those Morphe palettes...yikes! There are better colorful formulas on the market that are still affordable.

I literally picked up the Blueberry Muffin palette yesterday and was not impressed with the swatches but I’m really hoping it looks better on my eyes when I get to play with it. I actually used the Sigma palette you talked about this morning (worn it 3 times so far) and I love it, the shadows blend so beautifully and the colors are soft and yet easy to build up for more intense looks. The double-sided brush is one on my favorites, it works so well to pack on color and blend. Sigma has sales all the time, too, so I highly recommend it if you want to incorporate color into everyday looks

I almost ordered the 90s palette, and another whole full 12-pan full of the remaining mattes I wanted. 😅 Both their in-stock pre-made palettes and the custom palette creator are on sale, right now. But I've already bought so many things this month. And I still have 3 palettes that I haven't even tried, and another 4 or 5 arriving today (my BH Cosmetics order 😍)! I love the colours of the 90s palette, and I love so many of the Lethal matte colours. I am definitely going to be picking up at least the eyeshadows, sometime within a few months. And probably a face palette (Quartz and 2 blushers, probably).

I totally agree about the Melt Blush Duos! They’re so good. I was a little hesitant to pick them up at first because I had similar feelings about the Iluminación Highlighter - I didn’t like it. I'm so glad you saved me from buying that Morphe 9-pan. I had it in my cart, and was so close to grabbing it. I LOVE a monochromatic type palette, with light, medium, and dark tones of colours. The last palette I bought from Morphe was the Pony (pastel) palette. I don't regret that one, personally, because I'm VERY pale-skinned. A "wash" of colour, on my skin, tends to look almost neon, so I dig true pastels. 😅 And while I do enjoy that indie brands (especially PoC-owned) are releasing more pastels and pastel brights that work for all skin-tones, they don't have the same kind of effect on MY skin. I don't personally believe that all eyeshadow palettes have to be for all skin tones, but I do think brands should be more upfront about it. If it's going to barely show up or look ashy on anything darker than a light-medium skin tone, THEY SHOULD HAVE A WARNING!
