Groom wasn't that rude, some random vendor who was supposed to be GONE hours ago harassing him to film TikToks on HIS wedding day? Like, bye. Also no one asked her to do all of this nonsense. Her being at the back of the aisle probably showing up in photos, so inappropriate. And the poor bride having to console this vendor...nonsense. He shouldn't have cussed but I would have sent a bridesmaid over to kindly ask her to GTFO hours before that. Crazy.

She probably made a big scene about leaving since no one wants her there. And that’s why the bride was “begging her to stay”

Going to someone else’s wedding, being paid to work for them, and hijacking everyone’s happiness to throw yourself a pity party? Nope. Nope. She’s lucky all she got was kicked out.

Yes I thought that wording came across as posessive and like she views herself as connected yet above them. Like no, she was just the make up and hair for the brides and her party. I know its from her perspective but the way she discuss it does make her sound very self absorbed and only concentrating on how others affect her, not how she both affects others and the entire event which is an enormouse milstones in their lives! Sure she got cheated on but to her this is just one of 500 hair and make up jobs, this is a once in a lifetime even for everyone else involved and she doesn't seem to realize, or care, unless it directly personally affects her.

She got carried away having fun with these people and thought they were her friends instead of a client. Now she's full of self pity and crying that she "feels like she has no place in the wedding industry" 😮 This is really embarrassing for her and not professional behavior. I don't think you were being too harsh on the situation. 😊

Do you know how difficult it is to even speak to the bride & groom at a wedding as a guest? You usually get a couple of minutes at best. How was she speaking to them multiple times, plus the mother of the bride, & why would they feel the need to constantly reassure her that she should stay? There’s so much she’s leaving out, I guarantee you.

I wonder if they actually were telling her to stay or just stopping at “you’re so fun!” because what wedding guest is inviting other people to someone else’s wedding outside of a plus one????

The groom wasn't wrong. Clearly everyone around him was overstepping his feelings and he snapped with what he really meant. And then his newly wed wife steps on his feelings again with that damage control. I don't blame him.

I 100% believe that it was her intention to humiliate the bride cause her emotions were running high. She thought people were going to be on her side and when they weren’t, that’s when she checked herself. I’m glad it didn’t go the other way and she got to learn something, hopefully.

See what really gets me upset that no one is really talking about, is that these brides she did this to...they'll _never_ get this day back. Every time they think about it, every time they see those photos....that MUA will just invertedly pop up and ruin that memory. How awful. This is why you need a Shadow to your Amy. You need that one friend who will absolutely not have a problem being upfront with people if you're the type to worry about hurting others' feelings.

The audacity, the delusion. THE CRINGE. Once the reception was in progress, she should've been gone. The professionalism was non-existent. Crying multiple times? ❌Being in their wedding videos? ❌The dancing / "my fiance" tiktok ❌. Her confronting the bride AFTER being told to leave by the assistant wedding planner? ❌. EMBARRASSING.

It seems like a lot of drama recently has to do with weddings 🤨 Also, I know her loosing the grooms lighter doesn’t seem that important or that big an issue, but everything small on a regular day is giant on a wedding day, the fact that he had to find it/ he found it is not a good excuse, you put extra pressure on someone (one of the most important someone’s) to do something extra

For my cousin's wedding, one of our cousins' did our hair, and another cousin's gf did our makeup. Even though they were literally family, they still had to go back home and dress up there? Sure. They could dress with us the bridesmaids and such, but they weren't invited. This woman isn't even a friend and acts like this? Professionalism found dead in a ditch.

My boyfriend's sister got married 3 years into us dating. She and her bridesmaids got ready at her their parent's house. Since I was staying at the house after the wedding I got myself ready there as well. As much as she was nice to ask me if I wanted the makeup artist to do my makeup and get ready with them, I said no thanks and did my own makeup. And I didn't want to add my makeup up last minute onto the makeup artist. I still hung out with them a little bit, but I didn't squeeze myself into the group. This is someone who has known all her bridesmaids since they were in elementary school. And yes, I'm dating her brother, but I'm not in the bridal party of her wedding. Just let people have their moment

How do you work 500 weddings and with a straight face try to make yourself the victim in a story like this? She had already overstepped filming her “content” and then disrespectfully plastered this wedding party all throughout her bogus story time. & almost certainly before any of the PROFESSIONAL images/videos were even released to the couple. Hopefully the bride and groom forget her over involvement in the memory of their special day because Lord knows Miss Key Looks tried her damndest to make it about her.

The MUA seems to really be stretching the understanding of being able to post content. Post makeup before and afters? Yes. Post bride and groom walking down the aisle? No. Also you're killing me with the saying 'I get human emotions.' That was just too funny.

girl....if you're a professional makeup artist then you should know how to compartmentalize things and NOT have your personal feelings interfere with your job like this, i would actually be so upset if my makeup artist was crying the ENTIRE TIME that she was doing my makeup. she gave so much backstory to try and make these people look bad (personally i think that the groom was perfectly valid in how he responded) but she just ended up showing that she's unprofessional. she's talking about how she "didn't do anything to anyone" but she was belittling the videographer in her tiktoks, overstepping boundaries and doing other people's jobs, and acting like a nuisance because she wanted to film content, plus she lost something that didn't belong to her. she's annoying and i really don't understand how she's made a career out of this. also, i feel like she's just lying about everyone telling her that she should stay lmao, they all know that she's providing them a service that she's being paid for, she wouldn't be asked to stay unless she was actually a friend.

The mother of the bride having to console and encourage the hair and make up person is ridiculus and I don't know why she said it like it was a good thing? Instead of being relaxed and concentrating on being happy for her daughter, she had to hype up this crying person doing their hair and make up. Maybe the mother was desperately trying to cheer her up so she would stop bringing the vibe down so much, only happy tears should be at a wedding!

Yep also this isn't like someone who just works in a warehouse or something where being upset or crying might make other staff a bit uncomfortable but but not affect their job much, this is a flipping wedding! When my friend who works in a cafe got some bad news and was upset she asked to work in the back because she didn't want to negatively affect customers and knew she would find it difficult to plaster a happy face on. That wasn't a huge celebratory evet but knew to avoid negatively affevting customers.

Just because someone is welcoming to you doesn't mean you have to accept their invite to stay. It's honestly sad that she used the excuse that she got cheated on to sabotage someone else's wedding. If the wound is still fresh, don't stay somewhere where it still hurts.. mind you!! You yourself took the initiative to do extra work that you're not even getting paid for !! Like what!! Her lack of accountability is so embarrassing too always about what she did or didn't do!!! Edit: Another add-on, the way she says, "They acting like I'm begging to stay here.." If somebody did this at her wedding, she would have torn open a new cosmic dimension of outrage. Rightfully so. The comment about herself as being the only black woman employed there is haunting because *_she herself took footage proving she isn’t._* The woman whose face she shared trying to shame her is *_is also black???_* She was working alongside other people who were hired separately from her… ma’am you needed to delete the work of other black women and the bride’s blackness to try to be right about this? Like. Why tho. Why do this to other people. As a Gemini I hate when people use this horoscope in specific to embody the “sorry I hit u with my car it’s because I’m a caprisun” meme. You can be born at any point whenever in any year and this is inappropriate. You are not the main character. The other people are real and if someone did this to you you would like reconfigure your molecules at their audacity and they’d be right- sometimes I like lower stakes content bc it lets me have conversations with myself about how this kind of communication nightmare keeps happening and I’m so interested in that stuff- like. Even if money were abolished this would be unacceptable; They can’t be her friends. The people who (post money wording for clarity) commissioned your trade work, both the creation of art on peoples’ faces and the performance aspect of applying makeup to others, and your reward is the performance and showcasing of your craft, of people enjoying your work, and hell some party food if you’d like it. The people who commissioned you are already doing so many things, they do not have the bandwidth to befriend you. Other people are idk, real whole people. People upholding useless and harmful social constructs of how we should be in public and how we should treat each other aren’t allowed to go around like this then tell me my emotions are too big and I need to handle them better. Excusing myself, explaining that I’m having a personal emergency and the other mua’s will be there for both of us sure beats making other people’s lives my playground when I’m sad. Fucking respect other people. I have excused myself for every single workplace panic attack like a good baby. Even if it were purely selfish that selfishness would have been for me needing a PRIVATE. MOMENT. And it’s not selfish to not want to cry in front of people while they’re doing something that is fully unrelated to you beyond like “put a nice little painting on my face please.” I’ve never worked at anything as high stakes and personal as a damn wedding. I stocked shelves, I poured coffee. And it’s still completely reasonable and expected of the individual to know how to excuse themselves. Like after you break you need to know yourself well enough to know when you gotta go. Give yourself pause to know whether you can even do this, and if you can and it turns out whoops I was wrong I’m way more upset than I thought, then you go have your sit down and your water and your dark room, piece of bread, place where your crying can be how you need to cry without being heard bc like. When I’m like that. I don’t want someone to come check on me. I want to be in my little corner with my hurt so I can self regulate and like. Shocking. But it’s comforting to me personally to know I’m not disrupting other people. If you employ yourself you need to be able to give yourself the courtesy of stepping away let alone giving it to other people. Her job isn’t to be the next it girl. Like TikTok is exiting its phase of “place where people often get famous;” you’re just some random person. Main character syndrome is a hell of a drug. At least do the thing have the cry and then come back to get free reception cake and get buzzed- not drunk, you can’t handle drunk rn, buzzed if you wish. Like. How will being in a stranger’s wedding photos and giving them the paparazzi experience help any of you. Also if they were friends she may have been treated more harshly than the level of professionalism people tend to give strangers. Like “oh if we were friends they would be so so nice to me” not necessarily. Friendships end over this sort of thing. “I kept bursting into tears” “everyone said I was the best brightest presence in the room no contest” “I kept hanging out with the groomsmen right after I was really messed up from a breakup the same day and they said I’m a good time and they need me to stay” “I decided to shoot their entire wedding on my iPhone to advertise my business” “I have complaints about their wedding that I will now share behind their back” “I would never do the things I did, you don’t know, shut up, it’s not like I am the only person who posted video of me doing the things I stg now that I am apologizing I’d never do!” “I had to be asked to leave and then chose to refuse to actually leave leave” “I never did anything???? I was perfect the entire night. Everybody said so? Nobody can dim my brilliance that needs to take up the full screen every time? I am the main character? I’m pretty sure the movie was full of misogynoir too because I was the only black woman there apart from the bride and at least the woman who had to ask me to leave, potentially others who didn’t make it into my TikToks” Like yeah your mission statement is genuinely a good thing and a necessary thing. But you are harming your own communities when you try to deny accountability by accusing your critics of being racist when they don’t respond to your attempt to shame people whose lives you drastically inconvenienced and whose party you kinda ruined the way you wanted them to. Like no actually, when people were saying you had red flags in your behavior the entire event for respecting others’ boundaries, they aren’t prompting you to dog whistle “listen I’m loud” bud nobody was complaining about your volume. It’s a party. It was that you kept bursting into tears and refusing to step away. How loudly you were crying doesn’t matter, how loud you were doing anything isn’t the main issue with your behavior. The criticism you’re getting isn’t “you’re a black woman and you were being too loud” it’s people at least some of whom are genuinely asking if you’re aware of how this isn’t okay and if you’re okay. You know someone’s in the wrong and has run out of ways to reword it when they dust off the old “everybody makes mistakes, I’m only human.” That’s not an accountability being taken phrase.

“You’ll bring so much good energy” IF YOU KNOW. YOURE MASKING. (even in the happy face but otherwise unchanged allistic version of masking) YOU SHOULD THEN ALSO KNOW. THAT YOU GOTTA GO UNMASK. EVEN IF YOU COME BACK LATER. IT IS GOING TO CRACK. YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT TO DO ROUTINELY HIGH EMOTION WORK. PLEASE

You don’t say hi to people because you have manners- if you aren’t actually greeting them, the hello is a social placeholder that shows you’re aware of others around you. It’s not even polite it’s just neutral, spatial even.

someone made the comparison that the MUA/hairstylist role at wedding should be thought of like the same job for a broadway show. if you’re staying around (assuming you’ve ACTUALLY been serious asked to stay around - presumably for touch ups all night), you’re job is to STAY BACKSTAGE BEHIND THE CURTAIN.

The crazy thing is that she acts like no vendors are going through things themselves… like ever? For example: I shot my divorce lawyers wedding. My ex husband was having an affair with my mother. He (and she) had taken my kids and I was 20 days (which they could do since we did not have a custody agreement yet as he hadn’t spent more than an hour a week with them for 10 months prior) of 40 total days that I was unable to see, hear or find my kids and serve him with emergency court papers for their return. And I STILL didn’t make it anyone’s business at that wedding. She is just unprofessional. Plain and so so so simple.

I’m sorry but sobbing while putting make up on a client is not okay and not professional. I am crying a lot, don’t get it twisted haha but if I offer a service and get money for it, you’ve to be that professional to either get someone to cover for you or get it together. Imagine how f uncomfortable if you’re the bride or bridesmaid and your make up artist is desperately sad and crying in your face like NO 😅

I said this under Robert Welsh's video, but I feel like if the Makeup artist was doing before and after shots only, then that would have been okay. If she was getting shots of the before and after glam, and maybe an after shot of the bride and bridal party outside in their outfits (if there was time for it), then everyone would have been on her side. However, that isn't what she did; she very much overstepped and I don't think the groom did anything wrong at all.

A wedding is a celebration I get a few clips for content but the wedding is not for her business you don't get to demand content to help you it's their wedding to have fun and celebrate. film some fun stuff getting ready and if the bride wants you can do one with how beautiful at the alter (you can get a pic from the photographer even if it's a few weeks late) then give them touch up kits and go home she used a womans wedding that they have paid 10s of thousands of pounds/dollars for and demanded time attention and cried made the bride feel bad instead of the bride celebrating she was dealing with a emotional vender who should have left ages ago madness
