Even for a 30 year old singer this would be a very special, warm, refined and emotional performance, but to think that she was only 11 years old here is really stunning! Her inflections and dynamics and phrasing are insane! And the way she controls the power (like riding a horse) is something only a few singers can do! Delicate and tasteful! She is briljant here!

@@erikcouvret Of course music is best experienced live, and Angelina was as usual fantastic. But with earphones on, I also think this sounds great. Unfortunately, the band was not close to the same level as Angelina, especially the guitarist did not have a good day at work. But in this song (When We Were Young) the band was pretty good.

Once I saw a short video of Angelina's uncle, Michael, carrying Angelina in his arms....either from a venue she had just done or perhaps before one. I have never seen it again. Seeing him carrying her , like the small child she actually was at the time, made my heart swell and gave me a real picture of her I had never had before. Do we really appreciate , and know just how hard she has worked.......barefoot in cold weather, then performing while ill. A tiny little girl with a work ethic most adults don't have. Now, I hope so much that she will have the notice of the whole world that she deserves . I will never forget that picture imprinted on my mind of Michael carrying her, then she stands before a crowd and belts out a song ( songs) like a grown woman. She is more amazing than she gets credit for.

Yes, Eva, the way she jumped into her Uncle Michael’s arms is one of my favorite images of Angelina. It shows the love and trust they have for each other. I’ve played it over in my mind many times, and hope I can find it again to refresh that sublime moment. I’m happy to hear of someone else being so affected by it also.

When she goes into the crescendo on this song, it's one of my all time favorite moments with Angelina. STUNNING!!! Makes me tear up every time, and I've heard it well over 100 times. And the mix by Boris is an A+. Notice her humble response at the end when the audience goes crazy. She's like, "who me"? Maybe Simon was right when he said to her, "I don't think you know how good you are". Although by this time I think she knows that she's very good at what she does. Coincidentally, this was about 2 to 3 months before her performances on AGT Champions, and she's wearing the same outfit.

Her jazzy inflections and style take Adele's classic to a different level. She's able to bring forth more emotion and that's what goes directly to the human soul. Only someone with their roots in jazz is able to convey the amount of feeling that she does.

I wish Angelina would use this type of beautiful vocals when she is singing on TICTOC. Her comments about TICTOC are about 75% likes, but the other 25% are unhappy with her "new" style. For Your Information: Did you know that those folks who watch your reactions on TV can't post, view or reply to a comment, or even view the links posted of the original videos? If you have wondered why the ratio of thumbs-up to views is very small, and you are not getting enough comments to fuel your next reactions, that is probably the reason. More and more folks are watching KZbin on television, frequently attached to superior audio amps and speakers. Consistent because she consistently uses "Auto Tune" and "Auto Tune Live". People she is just a voical cover artist with auto tune nothing more nothing less. I wouldn't even consider her an artist. She is covering classic super star talented artist who never used Auto Tune and wrote composed and produced their own music. Please, please no more cover artist. You can get a 4 year old to sing a song and make it sound good with auto tune and digital production.
