Love the reaction to our Barefoot Princess! ♥👣👸🏻 Angelina arranges, at least in part, if not in total, total control of all her performances. She has since she was 7-8 yrs old. She knows what she wants and gets exactly what she wants out of the artists and musicians she works with, many of them who are some of the most accomplished in the industry. Angelina has the most beautiful deep voice which is always in tune and quite often in her lower register. I believe she is a Contralto which is rare for a girl especially at this age. You will soon realize she is always Pitch Perfect and always performs at a Master Class level. Her voice was powerful and beautiful at 8 yrs old and today at 16 it is phenomenal! Enjoy the ride. Congratulations to you and your wife for becoming parents of a precious baby. If your child is awake past her bed time, l suggest playing one of Angelina's soft songs; I have seen a video on YT with effective result helping a baby to sleep with Angelina's angelic voice. .

Angelina always makes an Adele song sound lighter and more yummy. I think the reason she can emulate Adele so well is because they are both messo- sopranos so their voices are similar. Where Adele belts her way through a song, Angelina finesses her way through it. She has natural rasp and superb breath control and it is like she glides effortlessly on a carpet of air giving the music space and warmth. Wonderful talent. Good reaction.

congrats to you and your wife on the new addition. AJ's video is a bit distorted and has fairly heavy static. Might want to check out your setup. When her video is paused, it all goes away so its just that end of things. Sometimes gremlins just get you and there is no fix ..

Whereas Adele is a great non-jazz singer, by Angelina being a 'born and bred' jazz singer, there is no way Adele can match the emotional penetration of Angelina. Add to this the fact that Angelina, being a 'vocal chameleon' is able to channel the vocals of an unlimited amount of A-List singers whenever she desires. Here, she includes the essence of Adele but then goes to one end of the jazz spectrum where Billie Holiday perfected 'breathy' releases. As if that wasn't enough, she then goes to the furthest, opposite end of the jazz spectrum to Amy Winehouse, who was the most uniquely different jazz singer of all time. Angelina incorporates Amy's 'raw' inflections like 'slurring' words for effect, as well as her radically changing 'key' in mid sentences. Add it all together with Angelina's personal style and the listener believes they are being assaulted by the vocals of 4 superstar singers in one song. Have never heard another singer who was able to do this form of intricate, complex singing.

Even though you've now done 2 Adele covers from her, I've gotta recommend a third: a partial cover (just the first half of the song) of Adele's "Love Is a Game". It's "just a TikTok", with _zero_ production on it, but, OMG, she kills it *so* hard… 😳😋 It's pretty easy to find on TT itself (go to the homepage, search for her name, and look through the video captions on her page - it's currently the 10th video from the top), and you don't need to log in to watch it there, but if you'd prefer to stay on YT, it's also available here in a few different uploads by fans.

Every cover she does ruins the original for me. Technically Adele might be better but emotionally it is Angelina hands down. I am reposting ridgemanron's comment as it is perfect. With Adele you get pure non-jazz Adele. With Angelina being a true jazz specialist, whereas Adele is not, allows Angelina to bring forth a higher level of permeation to the human soul. Being a 'vocal chameleon', she brings the essence of Adele but then adds the breathy, sensual releases that Billie Holiday would do. I never liked Angelina because she can't sing all her words clearly, too too many runs & riffs & half the time she cuts a lot of her words short of pronunciation. At least when Adele sang it you could clearly hear the words. Sure Angelina sings with emotion but what good is emotion if you can't hear the words clearly.
