No matter how many times, Angelina Jordan sings this song, each one will be a new experience because she adds little nuances and changes in how she wants to project the song at that particular time. She is an innovator and she knows how to use her voice and more importantly, she knows how to storytell and use her own vocal dynamics to get her feelings across to her audience. The depths of the soul that this young lady has at 19 is unbelievable and she's always had that from the very time she started singing. The Jazz that's infused in her DNA will always be there and it always comes out and she injects it into her music so naturally ! So much soul in her music ! She's a natural on stage as you can see how comfortably she feels the music and is in total command of what she's doing. But, it also makes me so frustrated that I wasn't able to make this show at the El Rey. There is NOTHING like seeing Angelina perform live. So looking forward to her next concert announcement. Hello Steve and Douglas (DD👋)! To see Angelina live was on my bucket list in 2023, but I also believed it would be a tall order to fill - very unlikely. 😕 And then what seemed impossible actually happened. Her first US concert was announced… Portsmouth New Hampshire USA. It was literally down the road (3 hours) from me! My “bucket list” item was fulfilled and I *experienced* that wondrous event, but little did I realize that seeing AJ live wouldn’t simply satisfy that desire. Vegas and Glendale were logistically impossible for me but I had the good fortune of being able to attend the Christmas concert. It was seemingly “…an alignment of the stars!” that made it possible for me to see Angelina perform at the El Rey theater in Los Angeles. I think AJ’s grandpa’s “friends, the stars” ✨💫🌟 were looking out for me. The lesson? Go see Angelina Jordan live in concert *whenever and wherever* the opportunity affords itself. You will *never* regret it. 🫶🫶💙🫶🫶 🎶👣

I was unable to make this concert although I did attend the Portsmouth concert in 2023. You were fortunate to be able to see Angelina live as it is a totally different experience from the videos. Enjoyed watching it again with you here as I did there. What a great start to the show! Lol. She does change up those lines. The first show at the Hotel Cafe made the most sense with "see" for the first line and " hear" for the second, but I agree, they all are fine, however she sings it. ❤❤🔥🔥👏👏😇
