What makes Angelina a once in a generation human being is not her voice, it's not her talent, it's not her beauty, it's not her age. It's her SOUL!

I have probably listened to this performance over 1000 times. It was actually never one of my favorite songs until Angelina took it over. Thank you so much for your reaction and the respect that you showed to this by not breaking in and talking over it. I really enjoy your reactions and I will be following you.

Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, passed away the same day Angelina is born 😊 Loved your reaction!!!

You just need to listen to more of her music. The more you listen to her the more that you will love her. Another dynamite one is “Stay”. Angelina can sing so many genre’s and adapt her vocals to each. She is a wonder to listen to. You mentioned watching from the beginning...well that starts at NGT when she was 7 yrs old. That contest spanned a couple of months and she sang 4 songs in English that are old time jazz. You will notice that ..if you follow her 1st performance to her last..a dramatic maturity in that short time happens. It is really quite remarkable. The variety of songs that she does when she is 9-11 is amazing. She sings many of them better than a lot of adults. Her journey is exciting because we get to watch a superstar in the making.

That silence after the video...? is so expected and yet so emotional because your reaction was very sincere and definitely Angelina's fans would like to hear more of what you have to say, I'm sure. my favorite from Angelina is "WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES" but the version where she sings outdoors, and she's only 8, that's right! 8 years old, that was the one that made me fall in love with her and her amazing voice at such young age, please react to that one and you'll realize she was born for this. What a way to start your journey with Angelina, keep it up. Greetings from Guatemala.

every time I listen to her starting this performance acapella, I am always amazed how a little kid could stand in front of thousands of people, everything all quiet you could hear a pin drops, all eyes and ears on her, and she sings without any music. no where to hide. no imperfection is forgiven. and she nailed it. this little girl has nerve of steel.

Totally agree and if you haven't watched and listened to her performance of "I’m a fool to want you" at the Judge's Cut off audition of Norway's Got Talent, you should hasten over to the link below and be amazed. You do know that when she was 7 and auditioning for Norway's Got Talent she sang a complete, difficult, song a'capela from start to finish. (I'm A Fool To Want You). The girl has never had any fear, no matter the size of the audience.

It’s really more than just her magnificent voice. How many vocalists can you name who make you “feel” their vocals in your soul, or just reach in and grab your heart, and bring you to tears every time? That’s Angelina. How many vocalists can you name who aren’t just singing to the music, but rather their voice IS the music? That’s Angelina, with her wonderful melisma, vocal fry, vibrato, and jazz stylings. That’s why Angelina is at her best when accompanied by only one or two acoustic instruments. Her humility shines also. A small curtsy and a smile at the end of an epic performance like this tells you how humble she is, as does her smile, wave and “bye” at the end of many private sessions. So, it’s so much more than just her voice. It’s really the whole package. She’s a truly gift to us all - from the universe.

Pure raw talent. This isn't taught, she was born with this brilliant voice. You're speechless because she isn't just singing to you, she's singing deep, very deep into your soul. Very few artists can do this. I hope she gets the recognition she truly deserves globally. I'm a huge FAN. If you have some spare time listen to her interpretation of Adele's "Million Years Ago". What can anyone say.... she does to music what Picasso or Da Vinci did to paintings (IMHO). I'm excited that you are planning to go back to her beginnings and work your way through to today. There are so many songs for you to hear, from Norway's Got Talent when she was 7-8 years old onward. One of her most memorable songs was recorded when she was nine called "I Put A Spell On You" (black and white studio version) and she puts on a performance that's hard to believe for someone of any age (you should definitely check it out). I appreciate your reaction and can't wait to hear more from you on her and her songs!!

One can admire her for all the other songs, but with Bohemian Rhapsody she shows in just a few seconds what an extraordinary artist she is. Her performance honors one of the greatest singers and songwriters without simply copying him. I have never ever heard a version of Bohemian Rhapsody were You're not comparing it to Freddy's performance in the way, where You instantly try to decide who is the better one.

Thanks for your new beautiful and shocked reaction to Angelina, Nathan. Even now, even on the hundredth time you hear it, especially in this performance, Angelina gives you the chills for the ability to transfer emotions. I think it's really worth it, she is so unique, as a person and as an artist. I thinks that you can be impressed by the fact that Angelina at only 13 years old was able to face a challenge with such an iconic song as this and made her become her own song, with a fantastic reworking, a calm, powerful and terribly emotional interpretation and a great courage to take him to one of the most difficult audiences of the show. The best of Angelina ... is Angelina, 😆 🤗 She searched her way for her version of the song and chose the lyrics that fit. Simply, changing the times and the reading key, based on her ability to understand and elaborate the song which, for a girl of that age, is almost supernatural, she created HER Bohemia Rhapsody. She just loves singing and does it her way. ❤️ Keep reacting to her and you'll have lots of new subscribers, including me. The 3 year old little girl in Norway had a dream, while watching the Talents on TV, to sing one day for Simon, I would say that after only 10 years she achieved it really well, she fascinated him, and not just him. Now you rightly just have to start again from the origin, to hers magical 7 years and the NGT of 2014 🤗 That is a very tender side of Angelina, when her talent and love for singing are already present and mix with her sweet appearance as a tiny child in a adults' world, which however does not frighten her at all. I think it's some of the most sweet moments you can have with her life and career path.

And what Nathan has probably not caught up with yet, is that this is NOT the typical Angelina. It is her only performance where she uses so much of her versatility from her "box of musical tricks". Done intentionally because of the limited time she had to show her skill set and impress the Judges. She did both with total control.

Yes! That’s the one that gobsmasks me every time, not just her singing, but the way she plays with the instrumental portion. She uses her whole body in ways other people have to learn for years. She sings I put A spell On You when she’s older, too. It’s still powerful and soulful, but she gives it the reserve she’s learning as a burgeoning adult. I also love all the songs she sang during Norway’s Got Talent. She auditioned with a Billie Holiday song, Gloomy Sunday, as a six-year-old and won the contest as a seven-year-old.

Consider that a 13yo steps before a huge audience with judges and totally controls the room down to the pin drop level, starts a cappella, and completely transforms what might be the most iconic song on the planet (a risky choice for mortals) and does it superbly with calm and confidence. A little slice of artistic perfection from a vocal tour-de-force! "How do you even (respond)?" is exactly the right question, but for that there is no good answer! React away to more AJ!

Because you just commited to a journey with Angelina, I am your new subscriber. You will see: she never disappoints. Did I tell you earlier that death was a crucial theme in her repertoire? There you go! What makes Angelina a superstar in the music industry is the very fact that she doesn't sing songs, she feels them, letting her spirit do the singing. As an artist more than a singer, she transforms her songs, even her covers, into personal, intimate conversations, like the title of her book says, between two hearts, hers and ours. That way, you cannot but feel that you are necessarily concerned, involved in her musical stories That is why we cry with her, even through laughter. Nathan, may the new year finds you and yours healthy and prosperous in all areas of your lives!

Simply amazing. Wow! What an incredible talent. You obviously enjoy reacting to talent such as Angelina, so I am recommending a young Soprano by the name of Amira Willighagen who won Holland’s Got Talent at the age of nine & won without a single singing lesson. Amazingly, she taught herself Opera by watching the likes of Pavarotti on uTube. You may think Opera is not your scene, but I can assure you , you WILL be blown away by this incredible talent. The world renown musician/ conductor Andre Rieu invited this 10 year old to perform in front of 15,000 people who gave Amira an extremely long standing ovation. She has since had voice training & has performed in some 13 countries with many of her performances supported by a full orchestra and backup singers. Would love your reaction on Amira. Ps. Opera was certainly not my music genre but after hearing this angelic voice, I listen to her every day.

What ANGELina has is unique, imo, her ability to access the emotional field of a song, and send it straight to our soul. She's maybe not an entertainer like some, but she has a way with her like no one else. I think she elevates every song she covers. There's a reason why Quincy Jones' said she's got the best vocal since Michael Jackson. Of all of her 120+ covers, i think I only have 2 or 3 "meh's"... I LOVE her Norway's got Talent audition, because it sets me back to when I got my first JAWDROP-experience with her voice. 7 y.o and singing Billie Holiday's GLOOMY SUNDAY. link with English Subtitles kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHqZi5uIoJ1pftU Another FAVorite has to be I PUT A SPELL ON YOU Screaming Jay Hawkins cover. Hi Nathan. That was a great reaction, Thank you for of that. Welcome to the world of Angelina’s music. Angie takes covers & Angelinalizes them & they become new. She chooses, & does all her own arrangements ever since she was very young, even when she did “Screaming Jay Hawkins “I put a spell on you” kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKipnaJ5hb2tedU at age 9. On AGT, Angie made her outfit from patterns of her Grandma's art work. She makes several of her outfits for shows & concerts. She also paints, plays 4 instruments & speaks & sings 4+ languages, English being her 3rd or 4th. Angie turned 14 on 1-10-20. Angie is a very kind, giving, loving, respectful, & big hearted Christian girl. She always sings barefoot when performing & she wrote a book about it at 9 called “Between Two Worlds”, others will explain this or you can look it up. Whenever she does a cover it is always tasteful. One of my faves is "I'm Still Holding Out for You" kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqebnp15nZqcn6c which she sang at 10. Hard to call it a cover, since the writer, Baby Fuzz, finally released it himself 2 years after her recording at age 10.

Great reaction. Before you react to her NGT check Angelina singing 'I Who Have Nothing" by Tom Jones when she was 6 years old. It will blow your mind. How can a 6yo sound like that? Unbelievable, amazing, incredible. Rusty or Boris should have the link. Great reaction. Subscribed.

Angela Jordan you’re very special girl her voice is fantastic it’s almost like she’s been touched by an angel is divine In November 2015, Jordan published the book Mellom to hjerter (Between Two Hearts), illustrated by her grandmother, Iranian artist Mery Zamani.[15] The book tells the story of her meeting a poor motherless girl in Asia who has no shoes. After a long conversation in which they discuss their dreams in life, she gives the girl her shoes and the girl promises to pray for Jordan to fulfill her dream to become a successful singer. According to Jordan the book is based on a real incident which she cites as the reason for always performing barefoot.[

"Let me know… your favorite of hers, as well as your favorite of hers going back…" The phrasing of this request is interesting, because I think it reveals an unconscious assumption that is made by many people who have only heard her most recent stuff: namely, that her earlier stuff somehow needs to be treated differently, as if her earlier performances might not quite "hold up" by comparison with her more recent work. (Not trying to criticize or put words in your mouth. I just think it's interesting how you put it. Plus, it gives me a convenient jumping off point for a long, rambling comment. :) While it is certainly true that she has gotten better over the years, the difference between a performance of hers now and one from when she was 8 or 9 (the difference in "quality", I mean) is probably a lot less than you're expecting. In fact, I can guarantee you that you will be absolutely blown away by multiple performances of hers at those ages - and at all the other ages in between (10, 11, 12). Like many people, my own personal "AJ favorites" list contains performances covering the entire span of her public career - and pretty evenly distributed, too - from her _Norway's Got Talent_ days onwards. Even if I were to narrow it down to my 2 favorites, one would be from when she was 8 (don't ask me to pin down which one, though! :) and the other would be from last year, when she was 13. I think that's remarkable, and it says a lot about how phenomenal she has been "from the beginning". (Although… as you already know, if you've been reading the comments, the *very* beginning of her "singing career" was actually when she was 1½ - and, yes, there is video proof for this claim, which you will see eventually. Was she a perfect singer even back then? No, of course not. But was she surprisingly good considering her age? I would say yes. In fact, I have a great deal to say about that llittle 23-second clip… but I'll hold off until a more appropriate time.) It's funny to think that technically she is still a "child singer" (and will be for the next few years). That phrase seems laughably inedequate when describing her today, but honestly, it didn't really fit her even back when she was 8 or 9 (you have to go back to 7 and 6 and earlier to get to a point where the term seems appropriate). I don't like to say it this way, but "she's not a child singer, she's a singer who just happens to be a child". In fact, she's _always_ been a singer. As was said to her by judges on both AGT and NGT, she was "born to sing". (It just took her 18 months to reveal that to the rest of us. :). [insert nice segue here] You noted her "jazzy" runs in "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". She was already into jazz by the age of 2 or 3. There's an article somewhere that talks about how she would search KZbin at that age, typing in a few letters and using autocomplete to find her favorite videos. By the time she was actually covering Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dinah Washington at 7 and 8 in NGT and afterwards, she was singing the songs like a pro: focusing on the emotional content of each song and inviting the audience to share in that emotion. You'll notice that I intentionally didn't say something like "conveying that emotion to the audience" (that's actually what I typed at first, but then I corrected myself). Because she doesn't direct her emotional energy outward to the audience, like most child singers - or, most _singers_ - do. She directs her energy inward. When you watch her singing, you are witnessing her _feeling_ the song. To be more specific, you are witnessing her going into another world - a world that she has described as "endless" and "amazing", and (I think) "full of love" (I don't have all her quotes about it at hand). As she put it when she was 8, "I enter another world and I think about the music, then I have a good time". [grin] And you can literally see her going in and out of that world in many of her covers recorded at home: she'll be singing with her eyes closed, then she'll finish the verse and open her eyes, smile, and look around, waiting through the little instrumental interlude, and then when it's time to sing the next line, she closes her eyes and _whoomp_ … she's off in that other world again. OK… well, I could go on and on about her… but I'll just leave it there for now.
