AGT Champions is a gathering of previous winners of the global competition. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7 years old. WON. When she was only 7. She was 13 when she performed in America's Got Talent. Check out her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody (her debut on AGT).

Welcome to the wonderful Angelina Jordan cosmos. It is all beauty and musical joy all over the place. For 7 years now she has been one of the main musical input to me, as I allready dropped my jaw to the floor at her first appearence at the "Norwegian Talents" show in early 2014. (I still keep dropping it as soon as she open her mouth. Can`t help it. :-D ) As you know by now, she then was 7 years old, and if you watch this "Yellow Brick Road" video again, take notis of her T-shirt with her grandma`s painted portrett of the 7 YO Angelina, as she gave her audition for the NGT. Be sure to investigate where it all started, and react to her earliest appearences. I also do recomend that you get familiar with her stunning versality. This girl of 1000 voices is mastering any song of any genre she choose to go for. And allways, as you said, effortlessly. And even to the point of perfection. My fav is when she was 7 on Norways got talent. 4 songs. 1st - I'm a fool to want you (sung a-capella) Gloomy Sunday, Bang Bang, and then the last Summertime. All jazz to start and then many many more i.e. Autumn Leaves, very difficult and she does it so easily (I think about 9/10 years old) p.s.

That was Angelina's second performance on AGT the C and I think she already knew that she would not be in the finals. That's why she appeared a bit subdued I think. Good pickup on Angelina using some jazz techniques in that performance. Angelina cut her teeth on jazz and blues from before her teeth had actually grown. When she performed on The View, at 8yo, she was asked when she started to sing and what was her first song and she answered "1.5yo and jazz".

Yes she won Norway's Got Talent... when she was 8 years old, over 6 years ago. Her initial performance on AGT (The Champions) about a year ago was "Bohemian Rhapsody". She received a Golden Buzzer and therefore went straight to the Finals (final 10 acts). That is where she performed "Yellow Brick Road" and where she was eliminated for reasons that are too complicated to explain here. Her last performance (just for show, not competition) on AGT was "Someone You Loved" with Tyler Butler-Figueroa and Ksenia Simonova. In the 6 years between NGT and AGT she put out upwards of 130 different songs on KZbin; you have a lot of catching up to do.

"Million Miles" is a great song, but with this first live performance you've seen from Angelina, I think you really saw some of the things that make her so special. Live is always better for Angelina, and the more stripped back the accompaniment the more her voice shines (but she can also hold her own in front of a full orchestra as you will see at some point) There's a ton to discover with Angelina, and you are just getting started. As you check out more and more of her stuff you are going to be amazed over and over. Her versatility is insane. Even when you're 10-20 songs into her library, she is still going to keep surprising you. ...and you said you liked the long comments so..... ...as always for anyone new to Angelina, here is a little bio so that you can learn a little more about her background and her kind and caring soul....... *Angelina Jordan* - Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 14 - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started studying all the greats from Jazz history with youtube videos. - *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot as a way to remember that little girl and to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. Angelina holds so true to this promise that she has sung outdoors in Norway, in december... barefoot. She has sung at a dinner with ex-pres Obama... barefoot. She went on AGT (possibly the biggest stage in the world)...bare foot. She made a promise at 6 years old, and has stuck strong to it for years. That takes a special kind of person. - She has always been the driving force behind her own singing career. It was her that asked her mother to take her to Norways Got Talent, where she auditioned at 7 years old and went on to win the whole show at just 8 years old. - In an interview after the show, when asked what she was going to do with the prize money, the 8 year old replied, "I would like to give it to orphans that need clothes and shoes" - When Angelina was 9 years old she became the youngest published author in Norway, when she wrote a book about the story of why she doesn't wear shoes when she sings. She donated proceeds from the sales of the book to help children in need. - The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. After she won NGT, they did not want her to be thrust into stardom before she had a chance to grow up as a normal child, and get her education. They allowed her to do a few select shows (mainly private and charity events) with a couple public shows every year when she is out of school. Her mother said in an interview that they have turned down 90% of the offers that came in. I remember this song when Elton sang it I think in the seventies . I was a teenager then. I am a grand mum now . The song it was never a favorite of mine. The power of her voice is particularly striking in Its A Man's World (at 12 years old) and in her cover of Whitney Houston, I Have Nothing (at 13 years old). Her major contribution to the music industry? In my opinion, her use of phonetics to give to songs their proper color through ornementation as a tribute or an homage. Like here: she mimicks the sound of the owl in the woods before pronouncing so slightly the word owel itself: from the 6:39 mark to 6:45. I do not know another artist who would compare to her in that kind of contribution to musical art.

This was a Champions competition so Angelina qualified as Norway’s Champion. She got the Golden Buzzer singing “ bohemian Rhapsody” & this her second performance. However, the so called “Superfans” did not even voter her into the top 5 showing the show is not truly about talent because the other performer who failed to make the top 5 was Marcelito Pompey!?!

Wow wow wow i know othet singers can reach some high notes but angelina has an hypnotic sound no one has what she has got she's a star in the making and the fact she didn't win the x factor final is beyond words she was 200 xs better than the guy who won

I think for the final the singer gives a list of songs, so Simon would have chosen this, you can't say that he doesn't have a sense of humor, the lyrics " I didn't sing up to you" reflects that Angelina would not sign the usual contract to give rights to AGT. Howie made his usual comment that means "yes you are really good but don't stand a chance of winning" need to be novelty act and American to win....

Ok, so on AGT Champions Edition, Angelina performed Bohemian Rhapsody for her audition, she was awarded the golden buzzer for that performance and went straight to the finals where she performed Yellow Brick Road. The only other performance was her with two other contestants doing Someone You loved, this was just for entertainment during the final show.
