Angelina just seems to know how a song should be sung. There are many vocalists that would use this song to show off their belting techniques, or some other vocal techniques to dazzle you. Not Angelina, this one is just pure, unadulterated beautiful singing to showcase this beautiful Cole Porter song. Keep them coming Craig, you have made it to the 10 yo Angelina so far & that is the age where many of her "Angels" believe she developed her fully adult voice, which has continued to get better to this day.

I believe this was performed on the eve of leaving Norway to live in the US the first time. There is no way a 10-year-old can juggle all the dynamics of performing to create such a beautiful rendition. With Angelina it is baked in the cake. She simply sees the big picture when it comes to music. Fine show today and I do thank you for that.

Hi Jim! It was more like an extended vacation, but the goal was to prepare for moving to LA at a later stage. A lot of things had to be in place for a bold move like that. Like school options, living options, access to a studio and to create contacts for her future career as a singer.

Your believe is correct concerning that this is recorded in the evening. So according to myself (observing the shadow on the buildings) ....and the clock in the tower of Oslo Domkirke (Oslo Cathedral) in the back ground it is around 21.00. This is not the first time that Angelina travels to USA. It is well documented that she was there at an age of 8. There she appeared on the US tv show the View singing Fly me to the moon. It's to be found on YT.

Thanks Craig for this beautiful reaction. A 10 year old girl (but if she were 8 or 9 or 11, it was the same 😀 ), who in perfect autonomy has so much sensitivity and musical intelligence to recalibrate a song like this and do it in such a perfect, accurate, sweet, soft way, balanced and ... much more, it is simply unreal. By association, compared to the position of the show, we could say that it's certainly her voice is already close to heaven. 💛 🧡 ❤️

Being a vocal chameleon, many times she will emulate the original singers vocals, but when it comes to jazz greats of yesteryear like Ella Fitzgerald, she stays mostly 'true' to the original but just decides to slow it down. It's such a slight variation from Ella, but proves to be genius. Sometimes 'less proves to actually be more', and that is proven here.

I've listened to many other versions including Ella's and this is spectacular! You're into her 10 year old and soon 11 year old stuff and you're about to be blown away. Great reaction again my friend. I celebrated new year's eve a couple of years back, and the temperature was -42 degrees C. But that's NOTHING for a viking like me. Very nice reaction Craig. One of my favorites from Angelina. She is on the rooftop of the TV2 studios in Oslo. This a popular show on TV2, Good Summer Norway. Angelina knows how to sing a song the way it was meant to be sung. So much musical talent in this young lady. This was done shortly before her leaving Oslo to go to LA in the US, so appropriate song I suppose.
