I actually didn't see her for a couple of years and she popped up in my feed with 60 covers or something..i took a look and i was hooked.. Also notice shes never wearing shoes on stage. And there is a reason for that. And she actually wrote a book about it.. But I'll tell you later in so i dont come with all of the information at once... Who knew one of my fav singers (top 10..maybe even top 5) hadn't even hit puberty... Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.

@@andyschnell58 yea i know the story. I been watching her since she won Norways got talent when she won. Im Norwegian so i watch it when it aired on tv2 like 7/ 8 years ago. I just diddent want to hit him with all the info at once. And thought i tell him in the next reaction.. But i guess if you @ him on the comment or something i dont have to do it on the next video.. But i olso was kinda thinking there is always a couple of people that are coming with the whole story. And I've seen that he have liked and read a comment where some person told about the story... But the way you wrote it or maybe even just copyed and pasted it is way better then i would probably have written it. And probably gives it more justice since im not American/English and this is not my first language. So its probably better if he reads this.. Or the other one down in the comment section..

She marches to her own beat and is always right on it. She has been shaping her music since she has been old enough to talk about it. She hears the world of music differently than the rest of us. How many of us would have even conceived of re-arranging that song that way? I'm thinking not many maybe 2-3 people. She is the first one to have the guts to pull it off. Simon when he said everything seem to come from her, he could have added even the clothes she's wearing. That's because from making the material, which was patterned after a painting her grandmother painted of Angelina's singing odyssey. At 7 we got a Barefoot Princes of Music, Reimagining and Covering some of the best songs in history and knocking them out of the park. At 15 years old we get witness this Wonder from heaven turn a page in history. Signing her fist contract and then to truly show us all how Music Should be, She wrights a modern masterpiece, "Million Miles", Still the barefoot humble Princess she sings it and now here we are. Long Live The Queen of Music. After the last Awards show where we where told what They thought the standard should be, The Barefoot Princess has taken the crown and showed them what REAL standers are. Great reaction my man. I guess that's what happens when you truly understand and appreciate just WHAT you're hearing, like you with your background obviously do. I love it. Since you're kinda new into your Angelina discovery, I'd just like to chime in with something. You know, she won Norway's Got Talent in 2014 at the age of 8. Her auditions were performed at the age of 7, but during the finale she had JUST turned 8. BUT - and to me it's a big BUT - more than one year before this, at the age of 6, we got to see her first studio recording, covering "I Who Have Nothing". You know, 1 year is a giant leap in a 6 year old girl's life evolutionwise. We who witnessed this way back then (me included), knew instantly that we were hearing something EXTREMELY special. Somehow, this performance seems to elude most reactors, which is a shame really, because that is the very beginning, at least to the public. On a more serious note, forgetting my previous snark (I couldn’t help myself) I adore this video reaction. I am a huge Angelina fan and have been since I saw her perform “What a Difference a Day Made” by Dinah Washington and I actually cried. It took me a couple weeks to process and accept that voice was real and actually coming from an eight year olds body. I had never heard anything that moved me like that. And I am the person whose entire life is dominated by music! I studied music and I teach music and I love such a wide range of genres. Yet NOTHING I’ve ever heard has invoked that sort of guttural feeling so quickly!! And it came FROM AN EIGHT YEAR OLD!😂I was dumbfounded. I believe She possesses, as a gift and blessing from a higher power, the spirit of Ms. Washington as well as Billie Holiday and some old school Nina Simone! Somehow she uses that gift, her natural ability to sing and her inherent (and obvious) love of old school jazz/blues to reach the deepest ranges of your soul. I’ve said this on other videos of her but I’ll say it again, she does not just sing for our ears!! She sings to your soul. I hope everyone gets a chance to hear the beauty she creates. She was put on this earth to add depth and beauty to the world and everyone should have the opportunity to experience that purpose.♥️
