I just went to her concert in LA and let me reassure you that everything I saw there indicates to me that she has indeed remained that girl that you pray she will remain. She was fantastic, of course, but also gracious, humble, and carried herself with pure class and dignity.

Seven years into my queen Angelina journey and I still dont know where the hell that voice came from. So raw and tasty. How does one own a James Brown song at 9 years old ??? ( Pray for our brothers and sisters that got to go to LA. May they be safe and healthy so this amazing opportunity will become a magical memory.) I couldnt make it. 🤬 Thanks for the reaction 👍🏻❤️

Exactly the words I thought to myself when I saw it for the first time, she is going to "conquer the world" and how fast this song is, it brings tears to my eyes because of her bursting talent and how she flips on stage from a little girl to the moment she opens her mouth to sing and suddenly you discover a stage monster , simply amazing 🦶🦶👑🗣🎙🎷

Hello Paul. Not only can she take any cover song, regardless of genre, and make it her own, she can even transmute a song from one genre into an entirely different genre. She also can sing the same song twenty times and give you twenty different versions, all special, all beautiful, every version deliberately tailored to fit the particular circumstances at the time and to deliver the message of the song exactly the way she wants to at that time. Not a whole lot of current artists can do that with such facility. The word "talent" is inadequate to describe her gifts.

This is one of my favorites. The entire concert is wonderful. The very idea that a 9 yo girl is fronting a jazz band at a concert still astounds me. But it is Angelina.

Paul, have you not reacted to Angie's rendition of (It's a Mans World) by James Brown? She is 11 and if you haven't seen that one, it has to go down as one of her all time top 5. Please try and include that one asap. You will be amazed. Great reaction as usual

my goodness, Angelina sounds incredible but I think the cameraman forgot they were the cameraman. the out of focus zooming in and out was truly something. One thing I love about this is that this little girl is singing timeless classics to a crowd of other little children and their parents. That is something you don't see everyday, I love that we get to see it in this recording. Also, her little waves throughout the performance, she was still a little kid but it is easy to forget when we focus on her talent alone. I find myself going back to older recordings of her. the year 2021 and 2022, in my opinion, were the most recent eventful years in terms of the material she released. She has recently explored new ways to utilize her voice, all within the jazz realm, and I think there is simply so much she is able to convey with her voice. I am anticipating new music and performances from her soon, she has so much artistry pouring out of her. I know that her debut album will be phenomenal

First things first: I very much like your introductory "decency remark". I firmly believe this attitude is something that is desperately needed on social media and the internet in general. Thank you for your statement and for acting according to your maxim. This is truly exemplary. (...and I'm sure we both agree that Angelina Jordan is absolutely “unsuspicious” in this respect.🙂). As for Angelina: that was some sharp vocal acrobatics, but mostly I thought her delivery was fun. Oh, and yes, like you said: cool! She leaves us in a good mood.
