This video is based on a demo audio, the song from Baby Fuz, I understand that Angelina's mother didn't like the lyrics, but there is no clear evidence, except that Angelina will never sing this again. It just happens to be such an incredible performance, but that's how it goes sometimes. Here Angelina was 10 years old - how she could connect so deeply with the story is beyond me, I just hope that these experiences in her singing gives her the strength to get through the difficult times that may come in her adult life. Her songs certainly help us old folk recover from life's scars that have lingered. I'm sure that she will be surrounded by Angels, who will never abandon her, that's the least we can hope for. After so many sad stories I hope that the new release 7th Heaven will be uplifting and optimistic, we are in so much need of a positive story, and maybe in the spring, a new string of songs will bloom and lift our spirits.

I was hoping for a album, not just a single from Angelina, because I want to see her burst on the music scene just like Norah Jones did back in 2002, with a album called "COME AWAY WITH ME". It sold over 26 million copies and she received 4 grammy awards.. Angelina deserves more than the 2.5 M views she received for MILLION MILES. She works so hard to improve her craft, and we love her dearly.

If I take three of her songs, for instance This Is A Man's World, Song For A and this one, and devote my full attention to her pronounciation in each of them, I may find that what distinguishes Angelina for all the other vocalists in the music industry, Dimash included, could be, among other particular qualities, the creativity at work in the variety of her diction, precious phonetics distinct in almost all the songs of her repertoire. It is her musical diction that gives the distinctive color to each song.

Hi Leo! This is a fabulous interpretation by Angelina, one of her best, IMO. Unfortunately it's controversial content led to Angelina never wanted to sing it again (at least that's the story about it). Anyway, if this is surprising for you, if you are still amazed at Angelina's ability to sing ANYTHING and BRILLIANTLY, you'll fall from your chair when you listen to her new single "7th Heaven"!!! Léo you mentioned giving a poem to Angelina to sing, in fact she did. The lyrics of « Song For A » is a poem of the iconic Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759 - 1796) set to music by the comtemporary Russian composer Nikolay Kartosia (Nico Cartosio) and he ask Angelina to sing it for is 2019 album « Melting » and it give us a Masterpiece.

Excellent choice Leo and very nice analysis. This is definitely one of the covers I love most of Angelina and I think everyone would like it to be one of her songs. The recording of her was occasional and brought with it a flood of commentary and controversy, but it is a surprising interpretation and it is wonderful to listen to her. I personally love the scratched and grim version of Angelina's demo at only 11 years, much more than Brandon Lowry's final version (Baby Fuss). 🤗 I believe that in this Angelina, despite her ages, is truly a blues soul, she sings melancholy, pain, loneliness, love in an absolutely special way. Fortunately without having gone through it. Listen to the her new single "7th Heaven", her fantastic warm voice in an old jazz style song, is really amazing 😊 ❤️

When it comes to ANGELina and her ability to bring forth the best in every song she sings, I've said/written it 100's of times; ANGELina's born with this ability to connect with the SOUL and the EMOTIONAL field of the SONG in a way very few does, if any. What a coincidence, I just wrote a comment on this song at another reactor . With the many comments there is a lot of information about Angelina's age at the time of recording, and the reasons why Angelina did not sing this song again, but I cannot find any verifiable sources. The video is a fan video and the phrase "LEAKED" is from the creator of the video. There was a comment about Angelina about her spectacular performance by Brandon Lowry (Baby FuzZ) on his YT channel but unfortunately the comment function is now deactivated. There he complained about massive attacks on himself. Since I unfortunately do not have a copy of his comment about Angelina and these can no longer be checked, I will forego repeating his comment. I would be grateful for any information about reliable sources on the subject. 🤗🤗

ThaNK YOU FOR finally getting to my favorite age 10 song, although there are three other massive performances in concert or at home at that age as well, or in rehearsal. I told you so!!! She was two weeks shy of being 11 yrs old. So, at age 10, she studio performs THIS masterpiece. Lot of mystery here... to be short, some say her family "THOUGHT" the lyrics suggest suicide and AVICII, whom she has worked with, on FEELING GOOD, for a Volvo Commercial stint, had done just that. Too much pressure/expectations for that hard working person and talent??? So sad. Then, there is the words... PRAY GOD HE DELIVERS.... BUT... NO ONE who understands the ENGLISH language and realizes that WORDS mean things, and add in biblical redemption/rebirth/Baptism in the river themes in the metaphoric lyrics, and due to the discussion of the song and meaning by the WRITER, BRANDON LOWREY, aka Sterling Fox, who also wrote for Madonna and other famous artists, allegedly due to his bio if you research these names, HE STATES that this song is not about that but about the feelings of unrequited "love/infatuation"... and trying to GET PAST the pain..... THAT IS, take the risk and move on. People say "..., even if I drown, I gotta hold it down" is reference to suicide... FALSE . If this song was about suicide, the word "IF" would not be used, IF represents RISK/yet-to-be-determined result, of potential drowning, not suicide.... taking RISK to be stronger, as in born again from above , in the name of Jesus Christ/GOD. IF it were about suicide, the word IF would be replaced with "even WHEN I drown"... or "even THEN I drown". Similarly, should a fireman run into a burning house to save a child and it is stated he did so EVEN IF HE DIED... not EVEN THEN he died, the later would reference sacrifice/ a do-or die suicide mission that did not end well. THE FORMER, "IF" HE DIED, is about risk and his job/duty. No suicide here folks. and Sarlina A, a poster who had a connection to the co-writers of this song, three Norwegians, who also worked on AJA song SHIELD near same time, have stated that SUICIDE was not a theme of the song . Brandon/Sterling decided to release this song on his own, as performer Baby FuzZ. The styling and melodic undulations are very near what AJA does here.. THE controversy is, who did these stylings first... AJA, then BF "borrowed" them? OR, did AJA follow a pre-demo-demo with said stylings . We do not know. This song was written by Baby FuzZ (Brandon Lowry) and several other writers who were introduced to Angelina. Brandon is a writer, produce and singer who has written for many top artists. Angelina was asked to make this recording demo, but it has been reported (I can't confirm) later found out the song was about suicide, and so she backed out, but it was obviously leaked to whomever eventually released it on KZbin. Baby FuzZ eventually recorded the song. To my knowledge, Angelina has never promoted or endorsed this leaked video, but it remains a fan favorite.

Baby fuzz's own version is downright horrible, sorry to say. His original version has 17 K views, AJ's version 249 K views. There are several AJ reactions with much more views then BF. So whatever the story behind is, someone did a huge mistake somewhere, not using AJ for the 'official' release. If the issue were the lyrics in the end, well, changing it slightly would have been a good move from BF. But this is purely speculations..

Here is as close to the truth as it gets....there are no controversies here with lyrics, AJ has changed lyrics on several songs. The family loves her version of the song. The only issue....the song is a masterpiece. The family had set a path for AJ. A song this good at age 10, would have forced them to deviate from the game plan. A spotlight on AJ at 10 would have put way too much pressure on the entire family to let her fly too early. They had already been getting contract offers since she won NGT. They decided to bury the song. As far as "leaked", nobody knows who released it, however, at age 11, Angelina has to be the youngest recording artist with a song to have cult status. Not sure if it will ever be officially released. Can she record it in the same way? We can only wait and see.
