This one is not as well known as some of her songs, but it’s definitely a favorite of hard-core Angelina fans. The flexibility and maturity of her voice, and that delivery… Yes-when you said that no 10 year old has a right to sing like that, I was thinking-wait til you hear what she does with the rest of this. It’s unusual for me to like a song the first time I hear it, but this one blew me away several years ago, and it’s still right there at the top of my Angelina favorites.

I don't know if you've done this, Harri .. but watch it once all the way through .. literally all the way .. listening with care to every word .. every word ..without opening eyes until there is no more sound. It is an experience you won't expect. She is insanely brilliant how Angelina truly embodied this song. Hearing it this way is an experience nobody should miss. It truly helped me understand why her mother put a stop or a hold on her singing it. .. although now that it's been out and we've all loved it it might happen that she'll get to do it again .. In a way I wonder though .. because this version is so magnificent and so beautiful and so much part of her journey that I hope it is never taken out of availability for anyone who may want to see and hear it sung by a brilliant ten year old named Angelina.

Yes, her eleventh year (when she was 10) was a watershed year for her. I think it was her confidence that emerged fully. She has never been nervous performing, but was not always sure she could produce what she wanted to. Being 10 somehow changed that, and this song is a great example.

This track points out for me one of the things differentiating Angelina from other singers, why she is noticeably "so good". She is extremely quick at changing pitch at full volume, almost no gap between notes. Where other average singers might need 100 microseconds to change from an A3 to a C3 at full volume perfect pitch, and well trained and practiced singers can do it in 10 microseconds, which is noticeable even for amateur listeners, Angelina can do it in 2 or 3 microseconds, and it is noticeable even to my largely untrained musical sense. One of the abilities Angelina perfected while her brain was still at the malleable rapid-development stage re how tight to run the muscles holding the vocal chords to produce a specific note.

You can't really call this a cover of the Baby Fuzz version, since Angelina recorded this about a year before Baby Fuzz. The urban myth surrounding this song is crazy! Brandon Lowery, aka Sterling Fox, aka Baby Fuzz, was the primary writer of this song when he was attending a songwriting camp in Oslo. He tried, unsuccessfully to get someone to record it before finally decided to record it himself. At some point, while he was trying to get it recorded, someone got Angelina to record this as a demo. A lot of people seem to believe Angelina's family didn't like the lyrics, believing they referred to suicide. They really don't. And she did change the lyrics to eliminate the F-word, so she could have made other changes if they felt that was necessary. It's more likely a rights issue. Nice reaction, Harri. 1 - The owner of this song is the lyric writer, Brandon Lowery, also known as Sterling Fox, also known as Baby Fuzz 2 - The demo was made right after the songwriting session, Brandon Lowery met Angelina at the house of one of the song's co-writers. 3 - The demo leaked just before Brandon Lowery released the song with another arrangement himself, revealing the other co-writers' contrary opinion, hoping to release it with Angelina, and changing the lyrics on the problematic part was the right thing to do. . 4 - The last part of the song promotes suicide, in the mold of John's baptism, by drowning in a river, a really problematic lyric that does not add support from any record company or singer.

it's not only a gift to have such a fantastic voice. the gift is that a girl like her are going puplic at the age of 7 the next gift is that she is very protected and supported by her fam. at her performence - the norway got talent auditution - back stage you can see the wake up call for her mom. but the truly gift is her grandma because she has seen her talent at a very young age. the video of her first visit in a music recording studio at the age of 6 shows the little pearl in this shell she has... i hope you can understand my bad english comment.

Harri-I have listened to music for a long time. I was a DJ in college. I have not heard a singer who connects so directly to people’s emotions like her. Many singers have songs here and there that connect to emotions deeply. But the sheer volume Angelina has already produced so far is astounding. She masters an unbelievable diversity of styles and in each style she pulls the most incredible feelings out of listeners. She interprets songs in brilliant manners well beyond her years. Keep listening to her catalogue. She doesn’t need to dance or move around a lot on stage. It would only distract from her voice. The smallest hand movements and changes of expression add to her performances. She is music in its highest level of being.

I don’t think that this song is a cover. Baby FuZZ cowrote this song in collaboration with 3 others. The song was shopped to several artists for possible recording. Angelina did a demo few days shy of her 11th birthday. For unknown reasons , the song was not released but later leaked by someone that had an access to the demo. When no artist seemed to be interested in recording it, Baby FuZZ recorded and released it not aware at the time of Angelina’s Demo. He only became aware of it when it was leaked. I think we can say that Baby FuZZ covered his own song. LOL. Baby FuZZ got lot of criticism and abuse on social platforms for the mistaken assumptions that he prevented Angelina from changing the lyrics. In an interview Baby FuZZ said that there were no discussion between him and Angelina’s team about releasing the song. He said that he supports young artists and liked Angelina’s version of the song. He threatened to block the video if he keeps receiving criticism and abuse. We are very thankful for Baby Fuzz for not blocking the video and supporting Angelina. I only discovered Angelina very recently,she moved me like never before,a special person/talent.only aged 10 when recorded this amazing, my no 1 so far,she is now aged 16 and her family are keeping a lid on things,there are many artists with good voices who don't make it ,it would be a disaster if Angelina also failed ,it all depends on the songs ,for me this is the type of material she should be recording I'm sure there is even better to come ,but I have to be patient, her record company and family are correct in not doing things to quickly.

Harri, I enjoy your reactions very much. What else is there to say about this video? Angelina is beyond description. You expressed yourself very well and, as you were speaking about her and pointing out what she does very well, when you came to the words, "her tone" your voice pitched to a slightly different level. Above everything else, that "tone" coming from her soul deep within her, is what really gets us. Harri, there is a homemade video of her when she was in preschool or kindergarten, at a school gathering where the classes (with some older students) were together singing and the expression on Angelina's face was like, "What are these people singing? This is terrible! I can't sing this!" It's hysterical. It might not be something to react to on your channel but definitely something you should enjoy on your own time.
