The video on my channel is the only known performance of BAD VALENTINE with Toby Gad. It was performed at the HOTEL CAFE, an well known Club in LA, where Toby was a Guest of Honor, playing a set of 6-8 of his most well known songs. . (TOBY GAD - 3x GRAMMY WINNER - Wrote ALL OF ME with John Legend; IF I WERE A BOY for Beyonce and a boat load of others You Know; Toby's works have over 15 BILLION streams to-date and was once rated the #3 songwriter in USA - he is the REAL DEAL !) . Angelina's participation in Toby's set at the HOTEL CAFE was unannounced; she stepped up on stage from the audience and sang IF I WERE A BOY, which was the 2nd to last song of Toby's set. Great reaction as always. Both covers of this by Angelina are glorious but I prefer the stripped down version Piano Diaries. That version lets her voice absolutely shine. "Bad Valentine" is her latest original--she just keeps creating like no one else can. James Thiel site has authorized video. I would suggest her EP done in order as it tells a story and by the way "Bad Valentine is connected to "Now I'm the Fool" from her EP. There is also a song she wrote for SOFI called "Our Time". All those are on her sites. Then, in my opinion, you must hear her "Unchained Melody" performance at the Nobel Peace Prize Presentation as in my mind this is the new standard for this song. There is the version with just the performance or a version done by James with the background info and a statement by Angelina at the end which I recommend. You can check the beginning of it to see if you wish to do that one. I will leave the links below. Toby chose Angelina to reinvent the song for his piano diaries project. And Wow She Did! Toby and Angelina are working together on songs. She will release her version of If I were a boy at the end of the month with other songs they are working on. This is now Angelina's song. Toby adore's her . This is not a Beyonce' song either. She covered this song long ago when toby wrote it and made it popular. Angelina came along and improved it as she always does ? God Bless Bre.
