Her genius here is in emulating Bruce Springsteen's 'Academy Award' winning musical video he made called 'Streets of Philadelphia'. Bruce is seen walking the back streets of Philadelphia as he walks. His vocals are strictly in a monotone form, whereas Angelina brings much more vocal power to portions of her's.
