Mace, the lyrics and title were changed because of their sexual implications. Angelina was only 11 years old when she performed at this concert. A rock/blues band called Foghat also performed this song using the original lyrics.

Hi there Mace. Enjoyed your reaction and comments. And yes, this is the cover of Etta James great hit, and as often happens, Angelina changed the words to make the text appropriate for her age. Incredible work and performance even if i prefer, same song, the performance at Sandefjord. You are absolutely right, she has blues and jazz in her blood. One suggestion, if I may. Check her live concert at Kongsberg. A real pearl.

In those fan recordings the mix is sometimes a bit off due to technical limitations of the recording equipment. Some concert producers forbid using better equipment. But fans that attended the concerts always said the mix was ok hearing it live.

All big artists makes a *_Grand Entrance_* on stage :) The live audio (sound check) wasn't the problem in this case, it's just very difficult to record outdoors with a single microphone on a camcorder, since all frequencies are affected differently by wind and other uncontrollable factors

This song was originally written by Willie Dixon, from a male perspective, and was first released as "Just Make Love to Me" by Muddy Waters in 1954. The lyrics are an interesting mix of superficially "progressive" sounding sentiments (e.g., "I don't want you to wash my clothes / I don't want you to keep a home") and objectification ("I just want to make love to you" and "[I can] tell by the way you swish and walk"). When Etta James covered it 7 years later, she changed the lyrics slightly to relfect a (decidedly less progressive) female perspective ("All I want to do is wash your clothes / I don't want to keep you indoors", and so forth). Of course, Angelina couldn't sing the full lyrics of either version, so she just pared it down to the "platonic" essentials.

As a star AJ need a 'warm' up since this is the start of the concert. She often rewrite lyrics so it fits her. It not propper for an 11 year old girl to sing 'I want to make love to you'.
