Love this performance (Franks) I believe her she has done it her way it was her encore at her recent LA concert she came out and said I'm going do My way for you guys and shouted because I did it my way , the whole concert was magical and My way was my favourite bit her even more mature husky voice is just gorgeous and so is she, it is her song now for me it always has been. 💜💜💜💜💜👣💜💜💜💜💜

12 years old?! It's always hard to believe. The transformation she is able to make like flipping a coin into such a wonderful, thoughtful and loving human being when she begins to sing is astounding and it always touches our hearts with such warm feelings of love for her. Crazy? It's a reality and we love every minute of it. Of course she is like that when she isn't singing but she is very young person and finding her way. But when she sings for us, for that moment that little girl becomes a beacon of light, an enduring beam of love she wants to share with all of us. Well, I'm off to vote. Yes, there are matters which we need to attend to and I am choosing the candidate whom I believe will begin to bring us back together as one.

Paul Anka from Canada wrote the song just for Frank Sinatra. Elvis fell in love with the song and used it to close his shows for years.

Your comment about not needing to use last names for Frank and Elvis reminded me of something! Many of us who knew Elvis from or near the beginning almost always referred to him simply as E! And everyone always knew who we were talking about! As usual another great reaction to our barefoot queen!

I just flew in and went directly from the airport and left immediately after to catch my return flight so I didn't have much time to talk with other angels.

As we know, she can go much deeper, and we know that's not really the point. As another angel put it, "She can become the song, live the story, and be the music." Both Frank and Elvis are important to her, so this song fits quite well. She's not quite 12 here, and hasn't sung it in full in public since - at least that was the case when I put it on your list. At her concert in Glendale in September of this year, it was the encore, and any critics who say it's unsuitable for a young girl should watch kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5OlZ5qghpt5o5I and then think again. If I were to add this moving version to your list, it would be the middle of next year for you to watch, and only the Good Lord knows what she'll have done by then. Maybe we'll have a version very simple with just a violin, or very spectacular with a full big band?

Just for the record it was Frank Sinatra who first recorded it and was to be his final swan song. Then Elvis recorded it and sold more copies than Frank. Oops. But I have a problem with this song. On judgement day I don’t want to stand before the Lord and say “ I did it my way”.
