The song itself is beautiful and when Louis Armstrong performs it you melt - then when a cute little girl sings it, but professionally and in Louis' style... And of course she is completely confident with this song, after all she was only three feet away from the Nobel Peace Prize laureates when she sang it at the NPP event in 2014. After "Gloomy Sunday" went viral, TV2 (the channel that broadcast NGT) felt the need to do a TV special about Angelina. It was broadcast on Easter Sunday 2014 (five days before the semi-final) and shows, among other things, Angelina singing this song in her room - a capella and without a lyric sheet!

Back to my love for her, and the chills. I truly love her child period much more than any. One interesting thing here is that you can tell she is not a native English speaker. Some words are just pronounced a bit differently, moreso than by an artist's choice. It adds to the charm, interest, and rawness for me. Another thought is that what Armstrong expresses in this lyric is something that we are losing in at least the American lifestyle. People are now staying more to themselves, and I think we lose a beauty of synergy that is possible when we come together.

Angelina Jordan is just awesome, and it even goes back to her performances when she was 6/7; you could already see or hear many of the pieces of her singing that she has in her voice, tone, and texture that she has today, almost 9/10 years later. It’s actually amazing for us, who get to watch these magnificent videos, that she’s already shown a lot of the framework of her musicality since she was that young, and it's all because of her family, mostly Mery Zamani, who documented most of it. A prodigy who's completely excelling with the help of another prodigy. ❤

Thanks Aron...love this song and love how she sings it here at this concert....just a note to you...when you speak over the video your software automatically lowers the volume of the video to barely audible giving your mic preference...takes several seconds for the video audio to recover, each and every time you speak...just wanted to point that out...pausing is just fine to give us your thoughts.

Hi, sorry for that...at one point I did start explaining when I realized (based on comments like this) that I was losing some people. Let me try to explain it simply... When two pople hum a note together and sound like one they perfect intonation. The more they mismatch the less intonation they have. TECHNICALLY it's matching the already calibrated musical system but the first definition should be enough to understand. Make sense?

@A-AronReacts at one point during his long solo, she rolls her eyes up. My instant impression was that she was irritated. I once heard another reactor say that he imagined that all of the other musicians must be thinking that they had better not mess up because she would notice and think poorly of them. I responded that she would definitely notice but that I doubted that she would think poorly of them. We all learn and grow, but she has a decade's head start compared to others of her age. I really enjoy watching your analysis of Angelina.

But after rewinding a couple times, I switched my BELIEF (obviously, I could be wrong) to... She was just thinking or any number of things. Maybe you're right...not sure

I suppose it is an example of how obsessed some of us are about this girl that we are discussing eye rolls by an eight year old and wondering what it might mean. It is just so remarkable that we have all this video of this genius growing up in front of our eyes.
