Bobby Hadfield of The Righteous Brothers is the 'Gold Standard' for this song and his best rendition was performed on the stage of The Andy Williams Show. Andy was an A-List singer and the set-up for singing was as good as it gets, which Bobby took full advantage of. Angelina's performance here is the best female version I've ever heard and it was done in a casual make-shift studio set up in her home. Can just imagine how advanced she would be in a few years, but even 'perhaps' now, for I've heard vocal expert analyzer Andreas Grussl's video titled - 'Is This Better Than Adele', where he compares Adele and Angelina in a current rendition of Adele's hit song 'Easy On Me'. Was astounded to have him say that Angelina, at her present age of 16, was able to 'out belt' Adele and sing the whole song in a superior way to Adele. Would love to hear her do this song now, for I think she would give Bobby a true run for the money. If you can out sing Adele, there's no reason why she could possibly apply that yardstick to Bobby's iconic rendition and either equal or surpass it. May sound crazy to some, but check out the Andreas Grussl analysis, for Adele can match Bobby Hadfield any day of the week.

Sadly, Angelina’s paternal grandfather died in March 2018 and her maternal grandfather died in November 2019. I think she may be the single most unique singing talent in the history of the world. As a couple of others have said, Yes Elvis did this song also. It was on his last album and he sang it live at his last concert when he was very sick. I am old enough that I heard Bobby sing it live and I heard Elvis at his last concert. I have listened to Angelina's two covers at 9 and at 12 probably over 100 times each. Since the day I heard Bobby singing it I have always thought no one would ever do it better. When Elvis did it my impression was that if he had not been sick he may well have bettered Bobby, Then along came Angelina!! For most of my life I have considered Elvis to be the best vocalist (male or female) ever. He is still (in my mind) the best male vocal artist ever. But Angelina did this song better than Elvis and almost as good as Bobby. I honestly believe that as much as she has matured vocally that if she ever decides to do this song again she will easily win out over Bobby! And with time I predict she will be recognized world wide as the best vocal artist ever, male or female (as she already is in my mind)!!!!

It is funny how our minds sometimes trick us. I think Elvis did sing it right? So that is an easy enough mistake. I have done much worse :-) She sings this wonderfully: it makes me relax and smile when listening to it. Her voice is so rich and she can make it do about anything. I think her rendition of Feeling Good at the age of 10 didn’t show any sign of a child singing also ‘I put a spell on you’ at the age of 9 is incredible and she goes wild with her voice there. So her voice sounded mature a little while before this song even and she is still growing fast.
