I really like Angelina because she has a natural lower register, a mezzo-soprano. So many female pop singers really cannot handle their soprano ranges and all I hear is close to abominable screeching. Even songstresses who are hugely popular, just because they hit the high notes, regardless ignore their tonality and vocal control, but the fans seldom notice it. This young lady is shoulders above these other so-called divas. She is blessed not only with an amazing voice, but with the intelligence to know how to maximize her use of it. Brava Angelina, Brava!

Yeah she is stupidly good, and so is her voice. That was jam packed with flavor. The fry, the breathiness, the vibrato it all seems like the easiest thing in the world for her. Angelina's growth with this song has been incredible. When she first published a cover of this at 13, it was a bit of a surprise for her longtime fans. She was pushing into new territory. She has always pushed at the limits, and challenged herself with some of the most difficult songs to sing. Well this song may have been something to challenge herself at 13... but at 16 she makes it look as easy as breathing. The progression of her voice and her artistry has been so amazing to watch. I'm so exited to watch her continue to grow and evolve over the coming years.

I heard this voice for the first time 5 days ago thanks to my son and my response was who in the h.... is that. I'm 76 and have seen and heard many great artists but please at 15 - 16 years old this young lady is just mindblowing. I was born in Denmark so Norway is just up the road so to speak but I live in Australia which makes me wonder why in the world, to my knowledge, havn't I ( we } not heard of this young lady long time ago. Let me just add that I watched her Elvis Presly cover several times ( Suspicious Minds ) and on two occasions and for a fraction of a second when she turns her head slightly to the right her mouth is so Elvis Presly. It's quite uncanny, I don't know if anyone else have picked this up, but you have to concentrate purely on her mouth to pick it up. I don't know if she herself is aware of this but it's just amazing!

For me, Angelina is different because when she sings, I see an artist that is giving us something beautiful without suggesting that her sensitivity is due to a life fill with pain and struggles, she is not trying to influence our feelings or our way of life, she is just giving us a beautiful performance from her soul and her heart, and she is so humble that she takes her shoes off to honor the poor kids in the world. Fame and fortune have distorted and ruin the life of many singers and I hope that Angelina keeps showing the world that music is a beautiful form of art that can be positive and enjoyable for everybody.

One reason was her parents' desire that, despite her exceptional talent, she would have as normal a childhood and adolescence as possible under the circumstances. School was also important. Too many of these children who are put in the spotlight too early and disconnected from a normal childhood have a difficult adult life. Her family is very protective. Just like in her song "Shield".
