At 43:50 do you keep this hand if you're playing a PT or something important? I can never tell if these are 'yah why not this is for fun anyway' hands or if you'd mulligan them outside of YT videos. Would love some more insight onto mulligan choices like this!

I think the amass card is actually great in BW because sac a creature draw 2 is a premium card in that deck. It’s also a modified creature for lethal takedown which is another premium card.

my biggest achievements in this format so far were: bestowing a Springheart Nantuko onto a Breaker of Creation and then fetching with my 3 cycle-fetches over several turns to copy it. And also casting Emrakul on an even board. Those turns really felt nasty

usually these counter/proliferate decks arent really all that enjoyable to play, but modern horizons 3 really nailed those in draft imo. I particularly love B/G, but B/W is fun as well.

Despite how good the eldrazi deck is in comparison to every other deck. But I have gon 3-0 the last two FNMs where black was super under drafted and I got a ton of removal with a BW one wining the first and the second being mostly black splashing 2 riddlekeepers and a couple of green cards and also an kozelik unsealing. However I had crabomination both times and had a lot of removal so yeah. I really like this format

Clickbait title, no demons ever showed up! I think it goes to show that strong synergy can still get you very far. I mean, guide of souls is still a sick rare but a lot of the wins were pure synergy value.

It’s spending a card on something that is basically a worse land. The mana it produces isn’t colored and only applies to one color of cards.

1:01:30 you can move the -1/-1 counter onto their creatures. 1:07:15 if only evangel triggered off of tokens! but alas, they put the broken card energy into RG instead. disagree that BG is bad, you just need to draft it super grindy with enough removal, evolution witnesses, and extra ways to put +1/+1 counters besides the standard adapt abilities. that said, it might still be (one of) the worst deck(s) but i've trophied with it multiple times. Nesting grounds in particular goes hard.
