Not really, in regards to ones who have turned to the Light. The closest example we have is Lillith, who didn't really go to the Light as much as she rejected and left the Burning Hells to help mother humanity. Perhaps demons think the Light is lame.

Frost Fables I gather it's for a number of reasons: 1) In a meta sense of story writing, I've never seen demons or any true aspect of evil turn to the light. 2) Lore-wise, Demons have no redeeming qualities, & hence have no reason to even attempt redeeming themselves. Conversely, Angels do possess corruptible qualities, such as pride and wrath. 3) Back to a meta standpoint, this could be a reflection of the need to be selfish (imho). Selfishness, whether in the name of malice or simply out of self-preservation, humans need to focus on oneself in order to survive.

Makes sense to me. Though I would certainly enjoy the story of one, I think such a demon would be far more aligned with Sanctuary than Heaven, for the reasons you say. Self-preservation aligns more with the humans. I'm sure Zoltun Kulle would get along with a few renegade demons, for example.

Angels and Demons seem to me nether good nor evil, as they lack choice. They are amoral. As an example: If you are incapable of violence, you are not moraly good for being nonviolent. You don't have a choice in that matter. There seems to be a probem with the lore's consistence here, as Tyrael chose to abandon his nature and became human, which implies the ability to choose (and for an angel to be not in line with it's creators agenda). Maybe I don't know enough about Diablo.

Diablo 1 manual described it nicely. While details can be rough at times, angels are overall obsessed over order and control. This ends up alienating humans from them, despite their good intentions, while demons methods of temptation and violence proved to be very effective. However I still have no clue where was Tyrael during Diablo 1, Tristram would really use his help.

I wish in the next Diablo they do a game on the Sin War + Re-Do Diablo 1-3 but in the way of Diablo One, not this new iPhone app style looking game. Also tone down all the classes: Warrior can subclass to Paladin, Knight, monk, or Barbarian. Rogue can subclass to assassin, demon hunter, or amazon Sorcerer can subclass into necromancer, witch doctor, or wizard.

I hope Malthael comes back as a good guy. Err, maybe not, because even if he was cured of insanity, the mindset that led him to the events of RoS would still be present. Sigh, he was so cool though... But anyways, technically the Crystal Arch should have made a new Archangel of Wisdom right after Malthael was killed, right? So either it already has and the story just hasn't covered it yet... or maybe it's taking a while because it's reincarnating him instead of replacing him?

The Crystal Arch did revive Tyrael as-is, so who knows what's in store for Malthael. Though if anything, the Crystal Arch would make a new angel of Justice, as Tyrael stepped in as the Aspect of Wisdom during the events of the game. But yeah, the story went full halt at the end of Reaper of Souls so it's just a matter of time before we find out.

DestinyGaleAries There's also the case that it took 20 years (iirc) for Tyrael to reform. From that precedent, we can assume that Angels (at least Archangels) take a significant amount of time to reincarnate.

I noticed that Inarius is not that good in diablo IV when started to demand the hero to kneel for a blessing. 😅 I thought angels are not supposed to ask or even accept worship from humans but I think these angels work differently from the angels of Christianity.

I watched supernatural and like folklore and myths and stuff like this and In supernatural they pretty much have the same philosophy and value. Tyrael reminds me of Castiel. An angel giving up their wing for humanity.

Sooo. Angels wanting to purge humanity sounds like a good plot for D4. Lilith returns, brings back her daddy and other evils, high heavens are like ok enough is enough we coming for you all, Imperius becomes Wrath then gets sucked into Diablo's final final form, heaven civil war ensues, hero has to fight off everyone to save the world. Boom!

well now I am stuck wondering. Malthael was the angel of wisdom. then the angel of death. But then again before he made it there was no such title to an angel. Does that mean that there should've been a new angel created in his place? I guess you could argue that Tyrael in the original diablo three decided to step up and become the angel of wisdom. but then there is no official angel of justice. does he get both titles? alright but even on a technical scale malthael is still dead. and a new angel is supposed to be popped out. so where is this new angel? was a new one even made?

From what I got so far, Diablo angles are all extreme war enthusiasts, who only want to fight evil. They seem pretty content with fighting for all eternity, like they are in some sort of valhalla. With exception of Inarius, who happened to be tired of endless conflict, which other angles probably thought was gay.

Yea, I don't know. It's so morally questionable because in order to end you have to kill humans. The fact that tyreal mortal is hard to say. Will, the crystal arch spit out angel of Justice? Also this worldstone I understand it was on the pandemonium fortress, and was discovered by the angels as a "mountain." We never got who created, it or where it came from. Another thing, in D2 you destroyed mephistos and diablo soulstone, and Baal. But does that mean the prime evils are realsed because of malthaels defeat. Technically, diablo is a taphmet, but they need a vessal or apart of Baal, mephistos, andariel, and duriel. Since prime and lesser evils are apart of taphamet.

If I remember correctly the world stone is the eye of anew the original being and as for Diablo I believe it has been confirmed that after part 5 all the evils were released and able to reform in the burning hells

I've got a question sir that I had read in other lore. After the end of Diablo II where Tyrael destroyed the world stone using his sword the "El'druin", it creates a big explosion that destroyed a big portion of the Mr. Arreat and it was said that Tyrael died from the explosion and reincarnated himself after many years that we see in the Diablo III cinematic where Tyrael and Imperius having an argument in the Crystal Arch. So my question is you said that Angels are immortal, correct, but when reincarnated, same aspect but they are not the same person anymore, but how about Tyrael? He's still the same person. So did he really die from the destruction of the World Stone? I got a little bit of confusion.

Tyrael is actually a very unique exception to that. The Crystal Arch chose to reincarnate Tyrael as he was rather than replace him. This is the first and only time the Crystal Arch has ever done this. Unfortunately there is no information as to why or how this happened. You can chalk it up to Tyrael just being the best person for the job, or having an important destiny. It's talked about briefly in the book "Storm of Light".

Frost Fables Is it ever explained why the Evils always reincarnate as the same individual, as opposed to the Angels? Also, since Angels & Demons are bound by their principles or representative aspects (such as Tyrael being the Aspect of Justice) , would you say they truly have free will?

I'd like to avoid Tyrael in this question, bc he seems to be quite the exception in regards to Angels. About the only 'first-for-Angels' thing he hasn't done yet is bump uglies with another being; like Inarius & Lilith did. I specifically use the word "truly" in reference to 'free will' bc the Angels and Demons **are** bound by the principles they represent. No matter what, Angels will always seek to perpetuate order (even in the case of Malthael), and Demons will always proliferate chaos. Their methods are different, but their goals are always bound by their respective core principle. The case of Inarius and Lilith, however, is a bit more muddled, since their real reasons are not elaborated in great detail. At most (from what I've heard, thus far) is that they were both tired of the war and were curious about each other.

In doing so, Tyrael hoped to demonstrate to the High Heavens that laws could be bent for a greater good. He had a degree of control over the process, and as he intended to walk amongst humans, taking on their form would serve his goals. Furthermore, by becoming mortal, he would no longer be bound by his nature as an angel* Angels have shapeshifting powers, *Angels are able to disguise themselves as humans and walk among them* ofc he chose to sacrificing his powers, but he only gave up his angelic ways, but he's still angel, to be a human, you need to be part demon and angel. But still be part of the nephalem as an ally

I don't get why the demons are objectively evil, but the angels aren't objectively good, but morally grey. The angels *do* have aspects of goodness in them but, the more the lore unravels, the more warped it seems to be portrayed. Tyrael is pretty much the closest we get to objective goodness. He at least understood that the angels were meant to do more than what they had been doing. But the angels should be allowed to be good; it doesn't make much of a difference since they rarely appear or interfere anyway. And if angels aren't good, I want to see more demons who aren't evil then. More risen demons, less fallen angels, please. It's a tired trope, and it's not even being done well.

I think saying in English may be like "bale" but we all know that it is always debatable what is the "correct" way especially when it is not in spoken in a non original language source. English is not the original sourse but that doesnt make it possible to say it in a way that goes hand in hand in English speaking traditions.
