Honestly back in 2006 I thought this band was going to become the greatest band of all time...they really did end up like that to their fans but they didn't get popularity like I had imagined

I got into them a lot later because I was like 7 back then, but I still thought the same. How the fuck did they not become more popular?

Jameson Bornholdt Because Tom said it over and over. Don’t worry, I drank the kool-aid, too. I still like this album, but can definitely look back on it now a little more neutrally than I could when Tom was hyping it.

If Tom could perform really well live and had flawless vocals like on the records, they would have had the potential to be a massive band.

@@AnshumanDwibhashi Because Tom's voice isn't that great. He was magic w/ Blink 182 and Punk but pushed it to a level he wasn't capable of vocally with AVA. He should have kept it simple vocally.

They played this whole album in my hometown because that was all the music they had at the time. Haha. They added some storytime and acoustic blink song performances. But the reaction in that room when they played valkyrie missle and everyone saw tom was pretty uniquely intense.

Hot is the word to describe these shows lol. At least the indoors gigs. I went to several AVA shows during this time and they are still the best live performances Ive seen....but HOT...all the lights and effects along with a shitload of people....Tom is sweating like mad in all the videos for a reason.

@@ashleymaker39 Definitely not, because Antares is a bad program for live shows and you also hear a glissando. Have you ever worked with the Antares Autotune? Buy a good computer with an interface and try autotune live and you'll find that it's unreliable and sounds very different from this recording. It's not even a T-Pain hard pitch effect but just a pitch correction and a mixdown in the DAW. That is the entire secret.

Dk's guitar in this song had to be master guitar riff than Tom so the sound operator turn it a lil bit louder and clearly and yes this video was remastered again for better sound
@jimdown90614 жыл бұрын
I don’t know why they haven’t just jumped over to using a Kemper or Axe FX. With how many different layered effects and samples and triggers they have going on it would make it easier to have perfectly dialed-in guitar tones that are reliable and sound the same every time. Valve amps are great for the studio where you have hours to tweak one sound but for reliability and consistency a Kemper is where it’s at.

This honestly will always be my favorite phase Tom went through! It was an incredible thing to me as a die hard blink fan (specifically Tom) to watch him grow up before our eyes! Seeing him go from this super immature kid to going through his depression and then this phase right here where you can see he’s finally fully grown up and just thoroughly lives and enjoys where he’s at in life! And now look at him! Full circle! Back acting like a kid again with Mark on stage
