Last question does it prevent cracking overtime? I’m not onabout it protecting the shoe from other things. Once i painted a shoe and 24 hours later without anything touching it it just cracked on it’s own. Will this stuff prevent that?

@@shuuuuushhshs2698 Hey if it cracks for any reason that usually has to do with prep. Depending on if it is leather or a different material you may need to deglaze or sand it. If a shoe cracks from painting it just wasn't prepped enough. That is the paint not being able to adhere because of something on top of the material. 4-Coat is a clear coat that goes on top of the painted or anything really to give it more scuff resistance.

They are both different. This one is a urethane. The other is water based, non-urethane. We consider this one to be more flexible.

This product does contain a urethane ingredient, so it can be used for more protection. It can also be more flexible in the long run.

You would treat this product that same as the paint, so you would want to use the leather prep first. Then add the HIGH GLOSS.

You can, however you will need to prepare that surface. Once you do that, you may lose some of that patent look. This is not as thick, but fairly close.

We do not recommend any type of finisher or top coat on suede. It will ruin the texture of the material and make it hard.

Not sure what i did wrong but i painted the soles of my tuxedo shoes with the Walk on Red product. Was looking for a high gloss finish so I used the 4 coat high gloss and it basically dried in small clumps and veins. What'd I do wrong? I shook the bottle like a demon.

The Walk on Red is meant for leather soled, or wooden soled shoes. Unfortunately there is not a paint that can stick to soles efficiently. Hope this helps!

"High Gloss Finisher"....needs sever improvement because I followed the directions precisely using a paint applied watery and clumpy. I waited for the air bubbles to settle after shaking the bottle, so there were no clumps in the bottle. The areas that managed to apply smoothly was streaky and didn't simulate patent leather at all. This video and the other tutorials all use an air brush and/or heat dryer thingy, but your instructions on the bottle does not say these tools are required. You should state on the bottle that an airbrush is required because I had to deglaze my entire project and start over....waist of money in my opinion.

What do you recommend for painting over a spot on a purse? I want to keep the the same color on the purse. Prep the spot first with deglaze and then paint the spot?

For a spot we would suggest prepping the area and a little outside of the area you want to fix. Once you have it prepped and dry just feather in a like color very lightly to try and blend it in. Whatever the sheen is I would suggest going over with 4-Coat.
