Best Angie lesson on youtube. I say this as a lot of people on here have the chords right but Justin shows how important the timing is. Also best Mick imitation ever. Who gives a good gooey crap if he is wearing sunglasses or resembles Bruce Willis. One of the biggest problems in today's music is the emphasis on looks and little on musical content. Top notch video..

Bought the vintage book off the back of the lesson, first of all its more than just a song book with lots of tips and advice on how to play the songs. The book is very well laid out, I'm very pleased with it, I highly recommend this little jewel.

Hey Justin I have spent several hours writing my own tabs from your lesson just for the intro - all the while stopping and starting - replaying in slow motion etc to get each note and work out the fingering - and then doing it all over again to get the rhythm - I have yet to get around to the verse and chorus section - so I now get the value of having the tabs to hand to hasten the learning such as in your book So to you others, if you put a value on your own time i.e.have the time to spare, then I guess buying Justin's book for what might equate to couple of hours work is a good investment - given that to write your own tabs for dozens of songs in the books could easily take up weeks of your time thanks again Justin, the world needs folk like you

I had a go at this before the vid (from the songbook) and gave up. the vid is awesome and inspiring and shows the limit to learning from the book alone ( although it is very good for the intro tab and those quirky chord shapes). keep on truckin Justin, respect.

I tried to learn this song when it fist came out but with just a vinyl record and later a cassette tape to use I was never able to accomplish much. I now have a dream realized and I thank you so much. I took your advice and once I learned the notes and your picking technique I went to a live version to work out the fine nuances. Found out that even though I knew the notes I needed a whole of work on the timing. I've got it down good enough now to really appreciate your time in teaching this, and so with that I say thank you.

I have the sheet music for this song and the only thing I would suggest is after the Fsus4 to the F there is a rest and hot F , C Dmin C pretty quickly, I've always played it that way and it actually sounds right to me at least altho it doesn't do it every time. more in the middle of the verses than in the beginning. I guess its a feel thing.

Do yourself a favor and buy Justin's songbook(s). I am not a shill for Justin, I have found his course and material to be the best, at least for me. I have wanted to learn to play Angie for 40 years now, just finally applied myself. Tried all kinds of things, web sites, books, instructional videos, DVD, on and on. Found that Justin's method works the best. Yes I am able to play Angie, a bit slow but yep I can play it! The Vintage songbook is really good, has lots of great tunes. It will keep you busy and you'll learn too.

Thanks for this well layed out lesson. I actually performed this with a teacher I was working with at the time, trying to understand soloing in different keys and such. Anyway, was able to perform it in front of a bunch of parents, albeit not great (nerves), but was well received and pretty happy overall.
