FIRST: I'm sure it isn't news to you that your videos are 1 of only a couple of producers that many of us look for. They are thorough, easy to follow, to the point, on subject, etc. I know that when i commit my valuable time to watching that i will GAIN good and valuable information. Thank you for your efforts. AND thanks most of all for NOT telling me about your big toe accident and cackling at every little thing...how annoying...I offer encouragement for keeping up the excellent work.

saved me some money because i was about to purchase the printable paper to check it out. i still may check it out in the future for products/items that won't be laundered. i've never cared for cricut brand vinyl or HTV though and pretty much always use paper studio and find that siser is decent and my second choice, especially if i can't get my hands on PS. i think i'm eventually going to try out sublimation but the limitation on shirt color is the number 1 reason i haven't yet. lots of awesome information here!! thank you!!!

Brilliant video. I love how you printed the name of each product on the items.. It made it so much easier to follow plus having a non laundered shirt.. This was a fabulous comparison. I wonder if different colors fade faster. As a hair colorist some colors do fade more quickly.. And as handy homeowner I find even within the same paint brands some colors hold better...

I just wanted to point out that the press that is used in general also makes a difference and if you pull the back hot or cold.....some will crack because they are suppose to be removed while hot to absorb into the shirt and not remain in the surface. Awesome video HTV is awesome

Thank you for an excellent, thorough, and rigorous test procedure of all products. I am extremely new to Cricut and HTV, but I have been sublimating for a couple of years. I used siser htv and they peeled the very first time I washed my shirt. I pre-washed the t-shirt without fabric softener, pre-heated and lint rolled the shirt before adding the htv, followed the instructions great, but they still peeled after washing.
@AngieHolden3 жыл бұрын
That shouldn't happen with Siser. The only thing I could say is that sometimes shirts have a coating on them applied at the store that will just NOT wash off. You could have gotten a bad shirt.

I worked for a digital apparel company 30 years ago... still have some apparel that went thru 100's of washes with sublimation.. its the best hands down even against this new tech... what you need to see is up close... we used a microscope when we were dealing with fabrics to see how different inks embedded or didn't.. Sublimation actually embeds itself into the core fibers, while many other methods sit on top and thus will eventually come off.

You should use them on a polyester shirt. Write on copy paper then press.

@@AngieHolden oh so you don’t need special sublimation paper with the infusible ink markers? The only thing holding me back from sublimation is that I don’t like wearing polyester at all. I wish some mad scientist would invent something similar for cotton!
