RECORD!? in the early 80s when i was young boy I caught a 12 lbs Kokanee in the middle of the night in horse fly lake B.C. My uncle claimed it because I was in his boat and his rod and he was drunk but my mom said F-you yr not claiming it I didn't care i've got the picture and eye witnesses I don't claim to be a record holder because i've heard of close to 20 lbs

Earth is not that old and not the world record. Look up the beardsley lake crescent. Got them near 20 lbs. Record is 26 lbs

I call absolute bullshit on this....I live Vancouver and fish for ocean sockeye and have 10 acres In the cariboo up north where I have caught kokanee 7.75 lbs lost 2 around 10 or 11.......prove with pics or verifiable links to this..?.45 years of ocean sockeye fishing and I have never seen 26lbs Try again keyboard fisherman.... You have no clue what you are talking about. It has MASSIVE numbers of fish and not a whole lot of fishing boats or fisherman. Many of the boats on the water are for water skiing and other boats.
