20-25 years ago we rented a boat and wet suits and swam with the Manatees. There was 10 or so boats in the water. But when you dove down the entire area was absolutely packed with fish. Brant your video just reminded me of that epic day, with the amount of fish at the end of the pier. Thanks for sharing!!

You need a long collapsible pole then you can do a very slow 360 and see everything. Thanks for sharing this video
@scottmichael37455 күн бұрын
Good idea! With the pole you could rotate and have better control of the camera. The string is not nearly as stable. But! The string prevents the shakes of the holder from being transferred to the camera. Just my opinion.

It’s amazing there not more people bitten by sharks that swim near piers. I go to Navarre beach pier a lot and always see sharks coming in close to people swimming. Beautiful video Brant

11:06 Doctorfish! Always cool to see reef fish in our area! There's butterflyfish sometimes over at Perdido pass, but you have to go deep, which is so sketch. Also not having to deal with the crowd at St. Andrews state park in Panama Bch....

When spear fishing both coasts and the Keys I can't think of a single time of not dealing with sharks when the fishing is on. Very cool filming to show the Life beneath.

At 8:50-9:00, those are file fish investigating the camera. Also, that tiger shark has been hanging around there for years. If you go late at night, you’ll see him hanging around the middle section.

I fear Tiger sharks more than any other shark. I got bit on my upper leg when I was a kid. I was boogie boarding. I was able to catch the wave right away. Luckily I had on a thick wetsuit. I had to get lots of stitches. They say it was a young Tiger shark. The pain was from it biting down. The force is immense. Like a hydraulic clamp squeezing you. Feels like your leg is going to just pop like a pimple.

So when fishing off a pier it seemed like shallow presentation or else you’ll run into bait fish or is that why you cast as far away from the pier as you can.

An extendable pole would be cool so you could aim the camera better. Or maybe it's time for an underwater drone with a tether. People seem to like these videos so it could be worth getting a good way to film underwater.

I said the names of most of the bigger fish. LY, pinfish, tiger sharks, cobia, sheepshead, remora, and spade fish were all mentioned. Most of the rest were baitfish. I’ll try and mention them all next time.

This was a really cool video and I appreciate it, but like you said at the end you would like to know what we would like to see. That being said, I can honestly tell you that I did not watch the two hour long video that you had out last. Those are just a little bit too long for me and I want to be able to totally commit to something that I really want to learn about. I know you can say, why not just watch a little bit at a time. That is true, but I like to be able to see what's going on about something, and know what's going to happen then and there. I don't want to have to go back and rewind, that kind of thing, you understand, hopefully. The second last one I really appreciated, I even had some well educated questions for you. You did not answer mine though. That's okay I think someone else answered it or part of it anyway. But those are the kinds of videos that I like the most. In the past it was all catch clean and cook. That's all I ever wanted to see, but I think I'm going abroad here and want something different, but I think it is the not ever hearing of something before, or it's just stuff that's not spoken about much so I don't remember it as well. Geez that was a mouthful, I hope you understood it!😂 Anyway I was just trying to give you a little bit more than just my two cents.😂 Please keep doing what you're doing and never stop creating content brant. You've found your calling! God bless!

I didn't want to edit my first comment that was so long. So I'm just telling you one more thing here I know it'll come out first but hey, just think of it that way when you get to the end of my huge long comment coming up, you'll know what it was at the end but I wanted to say as well. This one's getting pretty long here now that I'm thinking about it😂🤣 I just wanted to say that I like the GoPro dropped down videos, but you've done a whole bunch of those already, and they're just getting a little old I think. Other than that everything's cool brother thanks! Peace

You may be right but my last one got 500k views so I’m not stopping them until the market tells me people don’t want to see them anymore.
@danaparks88124 күн бұрын
@@AnglerUpTv Did you get a chance to read the long (longer) comment that I wanted to be read first? That's the real one that I wanted you to see, but instead of correcting it and editing it, I just made a second one (comment) in the hopes you would see the more important one. I'm not too sure if you are saying that sarcastically to me or not about the 500k views you got. I'm happy for you. I want to see your channel grow. I'm just telling you from my standpoint. I said I didn't really have enough time to watch a video that's 2 hours long and everyone seems to be doing them right now. Brant, I've been on disability for the last 4 years, laid up, couldn't really walk barely. I had all kinds of time on my hands to watch two hour plus long videos, however when every single person is doing them all like that, it gets to be old hat real quick. That's all I'm saying. I have them saved (All of the people that I subscribe to fishing channels, for a later time, but at this moment in time, I would rather see something that tells me something fun, gets to the point, makes me learn something quick, and ends. That's just me though. Either way, I appreciate it thanks for responding at all. God bless
