Hello. I got a new rod. Daiwa Blazon C68 BF. It's a Bait Finesse model. I think BFS is getting popular. I hope you enjoy my video.

Hello, Waki. I am thinking about Blazon 66ML and 66M for jerkbait/crank fishing. How do you think Shimano Expride would be a better sensitive rod than Blazon? Your opinion? Thanks.

As I talk in the video, Blazon can be alternative of Zodias, Not Expride.

I need a rod that is good for finesse bass fishing going to use a daiwa Tatula sv 103 or a zillion. You are right all my rods are too stiff except my fenwick rod, all my other rods are stiff, even my daiwa Tatula spinning medium heavy fast action is very stiff but that is a medium heavy so it’s probably supposed to be. I need something 6.6-7 foot, thin and has good bend for casting but still strong enough to pull in large bass and use half oz - 14 gram lures.

Just got this exact rod myself and paired it with a 2022 aldebaran bfs reel. I got the Blazon because it was the only BFS rod I could find on Digitaka that hadn't been sold out funnily enough. Have only tried it once but it feels awesome so far especially with dink bass, cant wait for a bigger one. I will say dropshot is awkward on a baitcaster for me so spinning gear wins there alongside ease of use, especially in tight brush covered spots. Glad to see you trying BFS stuff out and enjoying it, tight lines!

Will this rod work for small crankbaits and jerk baits? Maybe some top water lures too . I guess any light lures with treble hooks. 3/32-1/4oz
@zachbutler56856 ай бұрын
@@johnnyvalencia5355 You definitely can use cranks and jerkbaits with the light version of this rod. I tend to go towards 1/8-1/4 oz side with hard baits, usually 1/8 oz jerkbaits with both trebles and single hooks (catch and release) work best for me. However, I will say I do like it more for single hook soft plastics but that's just me and the fish where I live lol. Also anything below 1/16 is generally to light for this rod since its Light action, you may want to go Ultra light for anything below 1/16 oz. Hope this helps.

It’s definitely a fun genre waki! I really like it for trout and small bass. Aldebaran BFS 22’ reel is my favorite bfs reel 👌

I really like the Blazon lineup. Good value for the quality you get. I have the MH and ML version with the joint grip. Cheaper than the Zodias (at least the Zodias they sell in the US). Paired the ML Blazon with a Tatula SV 70 for some "Power" BFS fishing.

I bought the same rod. It is unbelievable. I just bought an alphas 800s for salt water fishing blades and soft plastics from 1/8 to 1/4 ounce. I can't wait for the reel. Do you think the rod will be OK for salt What distance were you getting with 1/8

Nice, I’ve been doing BFS for 2 years now. Got into it since the park bass in SoCal are so pressured and small. I fish that same exact lake so you know what I mean. Are you using a bfs reel as well?

Can you do Tatula vs Tatula elite rods? And reels of you have, wondering the differences between those rods and reels, they feel and look the same to me

Ah. I'm sorry. I have no plan to get Tatula rods...

Tatula elites I believe have better blank x45 nanotek plus and AGS guides.
