Awesome episode! The last time I saw Lake Chelan was back around '78, took the ferry to Stehekin and fished/camped on the river. Absolutely the best cutty fishing I've ever seen. In fact I dropped my jar of Pautzkis eggs in the river and still caught fish all day with little pieces of my red flannel shirt! This episode has brought back some incredible memories!

It would be nice if the hatchery continued to produce Chinook fisheries by improving the plankton bait, Mysis Shrimp, and crawdads a freshwater scuds that would help the chinook to grow.

Wdfw needs to be smart and put broodstock programs on our steelhead rivers that are “struggling”

The science is sound. The State of Washington is dragging ass because broodstocking is more expensive than creating the 6 poun Frankenfish. The agencies that souround the fisherys n the PNW are a bunch of corrupt scum.

Another reason I need to go up there, looks a hard but very rewarding fishery! Mostly I'd just like to catch some Burbot, though....bucket list fish. I've caught landlocked Chinook, though not of that quality!
