The figure eight on the 46 inch fish ahhhh fish had no chance to turn but love the channel by far my favorite. Hoping one day I can make it to a real musky fishing state rather then hometown Jersey

Zachary Zuchowski Yeah, his figure 8 game was off that day for sure. I'm happy to hear you enjoy the channel. Thanks so much for watching!

Nice fish. 20 years of trophy hunts, chasin big girls seems a different kind of approach... IME, make em eat 15' away from the boat has always been my approach. Up move, angle change, or speed move... if I see em boat side, it's usually too late. Thanks for the vids.

Love the videos. Content, production, and edits are great. More of a personal opinion, but I'd love to see the bump board stay home. Call it about a 38-39" and we will all believe you.
@AnglingAnarchy3 жыл бұрын
Dan Hardy Thank you sir, I appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoy the vids. As far as the bump board goes, I'm mainly just trying to provide accurate data when I register my fish through muskies inc. I know this is a contentious issue, so I spoke with a number of people (mostly fisheries biologists) who have used the data compiled from the Muskies Inc. Lunge Log and each one said that it would potentially skew the data if fish were registered and not precisely measured. I also work full time as a chemist in a laboratory so having accurate data is of the utmost importance to me, so again, I want any data that I will be contributing, regardless of the project, to be precise. I hope that sheds some light on why I tend to measure a lot of shorter fish that most people wouldn't.

love the vids .. really not needed to bump every fish..me personally I don't anything under 45

any recommendations on a lightweight rod to match up with that tranx reel if I wanted to long distance cast top water lures?
@AnglingAnarchy2 жыл бұрын
Mr Superchargedv8 The Chaos Tackle Assault Stick 20/20 rod in the Surgical Strike would be the best for that in the 9ft length.

Seems like your muskie catch numbers are down this year. Do you attribute that to the hotter weather this year?
@AnglingAnarchy3 жыл бұрын
Chris Hoskins Probably down a little. The Madsion chain has been particularly tough this year. Could be the hot weather, but not certain.

Great video. Dude may wanna get those corners in the 8 a little wider in the back of the boat. Some of the fish looked cut off. Not throwing shade. Just an observation. Love the channel. Keep up the good work!

I think the way Jamie holds his Rod is kind of getting in the way of his figure eights, it almost seems like it's inhibiting him making a wide first turn. Obviously it's easy for me to say just watching from afar but that's just a thought. Who knows either way I will keep watching!
@AnglingAnarchy3 жыл бұрын
ILL Musky Hunter Believe me, we've razzed Jamie about it for years. Turns out it's just more comfortable for him. I've tried it a few times and there's no way I'm switching over lol 😅

The figure 8s are absolutely terrible. 90% of the time it is just a very small circle. YEesh.
