Do you really think the average angler has all that expensive equipment. The data being shared is educational but guys we are all not professionals.

I think you miss interpret the point. It's part marketing for them as well since they are most likely ambassadors for these higher end gear. The weekend warrior can achieve the same results as the pros and they are showing it free of charge. Everyone wants to produce like the pros and sharing what they use means the average angler may need to spend the money to duplicate those same results.
