Actually the solo was written by Kiko, that's why sounds like Kiko still playing in Angra. Nice reaction for the song guys, greetings from Brazil.

I‘ve never heard a song of this genre before. For me it sounds like a piece from a Musical with crazy drums. At first I didn‘t like it but the longer the song played the more it grew on me. I liked the part where it switched. Something you almost never have in HipHop.

I'm absolutely a hip hop person in all it's sub genres that exist but don't exist, but in HS I defiantly messed around with Deamons and Wizards, Blind Guardian, and Iced Earth. I also jumped over to some prog metal with of course Dream Theater, I really loved dream theater. Fun to see you guys switch over, Lost in Vegas does hip hop from time to time too. That tempo change in this song is pretty sick, very Iced Earth.
@syedayaan53686 жыл бұрын
As a hip hop head this was my first time listening to a metal song, I didn't really dig the song, maybe because I have no knowledge of any instruments, so I didn't know which part was cool or what stood out in the solo etc.

Woah haha. This is a lot to digest! I was gonna reply to you yesterday but I wanted to check out some metal I already have in my playlist first. Might as well throw it out there now. I know I enjoyed Black Sabbath's first album, as well as Iron Maidens...and I like Motorhead quite a lot. Also I dunno if you'd exactly call it metal but I enjoy Rammstein a great deal. I've listened to tonnes of Avenged Sevenfold at the request of a friend, but I never really liked any of it unfortunately. But yeah, thanks a lot for this! No need to apologise for the length, I appreciate the detail a lot. I'll get through this all and throw a reply out there with my thoughts when I'm done. :D

Nice to see you reacting to the genre of music you love:) However, since you've already reacted to Biggie and Nas, might I suggest you react to the two of the MC's they were most influenced by (i.e., Big Daddy Kane and Rakim, respectively)? Of course, if you are looking for some Canadian content, you could always react to Maestro Fresh Wes's "Let your backbone slide". He too was heavily influenced by Big Daddy Kane, but in terms of Canadian Hip Hop, that is the tune to go with.

i liked this reaction, and i'm not a big fan of power metal. i love the instrumentals, but i can't get into the vocals when it comes to power metal. i would love to see you guys do more metal, though. i would like to hear you be more critical, i think it's interesting to hear about what you two (as long time metalheads) are listening for and what grabs you as well as what you dislike. also think maybe a little more critique or breakdown of the lyrics would be good to hear. just my two cents. was a great video regardless. look forward to more in the future.

Hey, cool videos you have there! :) I was wondering if you could listen to some hip-hop legends again, like for example Krayzie Bone - We ain't really living or 2Pac - Do for love. They are a bit more serious songs but not as dark as the suicidal one from Biggie. Now I have long stopped listening to hip-hop but those two have a lot of songs that make me come back and listen to like every blood moon or so.
