I cannot express how much I enjoyed watching an Imperial Guard army played correctly. Chris did such a good job and it really felt good to see clever play and use of the synergy of the army. Most channels when they use the guard seem to forget the majority of their attacks and abilities and play them like sacrificial units. Chris has definitely won you guys a subscriber!

What a wash of blood! The blood god was surely pleased! This was a great battle report to watch. I definitely think that EE earned a name. I already think of him as Cornelius in my head. I would recommend, if you had 60 extra points it might be worth changing one unit of EE for a unit of regular eightbound and adding a jakhals. Theyre just so useful and the eightbound are only a little less powerful than EEs. A great showing though! Skulls for the skull throne!

Just played against Angron myself. Riptide and Hammerhead both got dev wounds after literally nothing else hurt him.

Ah! So we had Prepared Positions for the mission rule - meaning battleline units could use heroic intervention or go to ground free once per turn. Sadly not a generic Astra rule although that would be brilliant! Cheers for watching.

I think this was a Pariah Nexus mission rule! Unless we're practicing for a tourney we usually draw from the deck to keep it fun and keep everyone on their toes
