It's just my opinion but I think the first one is better by a slim margin. Mostly due to Zetas poorly done redemption arc and the rushed love between red and silver.

I honestly think that the first one is the superior one by leaps and bounds. Several characters in Movie 2 are out of character, especially Mighty Eagle. Zeta’s plan makes no sense. Red is a selfish brat. The romance is forced (and last I checked, Silver was a kid in the games). And don’t get me started on Bomb, Baby Shark, the Dabbing, and Zeta’s “redemption”.
