They will claw and bite you for no reason and cat lovers will say that you either made them do it or that “it’s just their instincts” and that punishing or disciplining them is wrong. They spread toxoplasmosis at an alarming rate (33% of the world has it and over half of all cat owners in America). After humans they are the most successful predator, torturing and maiming billions of animals every year for sport (not because they need to, they have their food provided by humans). They are incapable of being domesticated: we’ve tried for 10,000 years and we still haven’t succeeded because they simply can’t get their violent tendencies ground out of them. So when I see a diseased little jizzrag like this one spitting and snarling and acting violent towards someone who’s trying to help it and cat lovers say AWWWWWW ISNT IT CUTE despite the fact that if it was literally any other animal they would be concerned for its mental state, it’s annoying. So yeah I have “beef” with these little furballs 😂

The enemy of a cat is someone who knows their business. I cannot clip my cats claws. I've known vets who need two others to help to clip her claws. Then I found a vet with an assistant that just flips her over, clip-clip-clip done in seconds. My cat was so shocked, she didn't make a sound, just looked at me with utter horror that she'd been so thoroughly out-played.

My papillon and I once stayed with a friend who had a young cat. The cat and my dog liked to play, but I was worried the cat would accidentally hurt my dog with his claws, so one day while my friend was at work, I clipped all the claws. When she got home, I said, "I clipped his claws; hope that's okay." She just STARED at me for a minute and then said, "HOW? I need to wrap him in a towel and have someone else hold him while I clip them!" I think sometimes when someone relatively unfamiliar to the cat just matter-of-factly grabs them and quickly and efficiently does what needs to be done, the cat is too surprised to react, haha.

I just got some 15 year olds and they're not used to being groomed/had the previous owners trained not to groom them. Well. They're not impressed we didn't seem to get that message and get the things they hate done before they have a chance to get the teeth out. I had a cat who was almost identical to Loki. His matting was horrendous as the prior owner was lazy and neglectful. After fighting with him the first few times, I decided to go all-in with a full body shave just as the heat of summer kicked in. He wasn’t a happy boy that day, but the day after he turned into an utter mush pot! He LOVED being bare and rolled around purring in the grass and snuggling me like I was the best thing that ever happened! :D

Cats don't forget that Is something I remember after accidentally standing on ones tail. It got me 3 days later with a strait paw to my left side of my jaw. I did not react at first as I was relived it got me when I was awake rather than asleep. Needless to say no more standing on tails and no more catslaps from Thomas my best buddy.

He peed on himself because he was scared and that's how cats cope. He got himself covered in pee because most animals aren't intelligent enough to maintain hygienic awareness outside of instinctual grooming habits. Being that he had never been groomed before he obviously had no idea what was in store and I doubt he will behave differently in the future even if he recognized that he felt more comfortable after the grooming.

@@pthesmith theres a scent gland back there. If ya want it to not be as funky ya gotta clean it out. Usually the cat does it themselves through grooming or being alittle asshole. Thankfully my fat cat lets me clean it out if i promise not to bathe her cuz that crap can get infected esp as they get older. Alot of dog breeds have that issue as well.
